Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano

Spacious and quiet. The room had its own washer and dryer, so that was a bonus. Beautiful balcony view!

They upgraded me to the Intracoastal view room and I loved it. If you're going to stay at this hotel, you definitely should book the 800 sqft room with Intracoastal. There's washer/dryer, kitchen and central a/c. Room is quiet which I really love because I hate noise. Breakfast should be better. That's what I didn't like. It's same every day. Location is awesome which is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. There's also a good restaurant inside the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel for short and long term stays.

Our stay was nice, it was just an overnight and the hotel was close to all the locations we went to throughout our stay.

I had early check in and front desk was very helpful. They didn't charge early check in fee which I appreciate. However, they took $300 security deposit from me instead of $250. They said there was a computer glitch which is unacceptable. Breakfast was great. Coffee can be better. I didn't like the morning coffee. They can change breakfast daily but it's same every day. After few days, it gets boring. Also, there's no tea/coffee station 24/7 which I didn't like. I think there should be free tea/coffee station. Hilton has it. Room was spacious and there's washer and dryer in the room which is great. My room was facing the sea. I like that there's central a/c and rooms are quiet. Dishwasher didn't work. They had to unplug and plug it after each use. The rooms definitely need an upgrade. Carpet should be removed. Hotel is in front of Intracoastal and the view is great. There's also water taxi that passes by the hotel. Bokampers is next to the hotel. There are lots of options for eating and shopping. There's Walgreens that's like 5 mins walking distance. Overall, the hotel is great for short and long term stays.

Great amenities, with great breakfast. The wonderful lady that provides breakfast was very kind and thoughtful. We will definitely be back.

Room 'looked' clean but does not appear to be up to the usual Marriott standard. It felt sterile and could be decorated for a more home-like feel. A small dinning table and a small balcony table would be nice additions. The mini-kitchen was a hit. I will visit again. I didn't care for the breakfast and hope for a slightly upgraded room. The stay was otherwise quiet pleasant.

The view and the cleanliness were outstanding

The stay was okay...either had to pay $2hr for parking or $40 a day to valet...I was their for a week, so imaging how much I had to pay for parking. I spent more money on the hotel and the amenties then my own person enjoyment. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was minimum. My biggest enjoyment was the balcony view. Would I go back on my next vacation probably not.

Clean and efficient

I like everything. Nice hotel but I wish they rotate the daily breakfasts menu.😉

room was clean, but a little dated. bathroom was fine, but clean towels seemed a little worn. Shower head made a squealing noise. breakfast was average. entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only thing I didn’t like was that I had to pay for parking during the day. Otherwise I had a great stay.

Staff was great breakfast was ok and the view was amazing

I stayed in room 709 and it was very nice. Plenty of room with two balconies. The washer and dryer was very helpful after a day at the beach. The morning breakfast was very good. There are plenty of food options surrounding the property.

We had excellent service from Cris, who helped us when we arrived. The valet service was great, given that the public parking is a pay by meter, the valet service came in handy and the valet staff was very courteous. The room was great and spacious. Housekeeping was great and friendly! The bed was a bit hard for me, but other than that everything was excellent. We had a balcony with a view to the beach. Very pretty to wake up to. It was also an easy drive into Miami and Sunrise for a concert.

The whole experience is great. I traveled solo, the security in and out of the building and rooms were amazing. Area is calm. Very good establishment. Didnt want to leave
