Enjoy the real Florida feel of the hotel and neighborhood. Staff was excellent.

Great stay, even better location - Immediate access to the waterfront on one side of the hotel and Las Olas Boulevard on the other! Was upgraded to the Towers side of the property - very well-kept, attentive housekeeping staff, seamless check-in/check-out. Definitely recommend, especially as a pet-friendly option. I’m sure my pup would agree!

We highly recommend the Riverside Hotel, it has everything you need from spacious rooms, a pristine clean pool, walking distance shops and restaurants, super friendly staff and most of all... we enjoyed how private and quiet the place is.

My favorite is the pool. Good size and warm clean water. Will return soon

Great stay overall

Its location, staff, facilities, dining options and amenities are top flight. Cleanliness of all rooms, common areas and pool are exceptional. The concierge services are more than accommodating. Dining options for all three meals are splendid and with good meal options. The area(s) around the Riverside are hip, trendy, boutique and excellent and safe to explore on foot, (especially the Riverwalk!). There is a piano bar in the lobby. Just to the side of the bar is an area for smokers... • If you're looking for a hotel that's been furnished by Homegoods, this ain't it. The appointments are elegant, without pretension, and befitting of the era this grand old Floridian landmark was built. If you want a nice stay, whether it's a solo, family, vacation or business-stay, this is it. ☮

Great hotel on Las Olas. Great location for entertainment within walking distance Room was comfortable. Will be back

Great staff. Very helpful.

My stay was great. They were updating the elevators but it wasn’t too much of a problem just having one elevator. I wish they would have let people watch the fireworks from the 8th floor but it was only for private events, even tho there were none that day. Overall the stay was great and the staff were friendly. Will stay again whenever I’m back in the area.

Firstly, the man who checked us in and most of the valet staff were very helpful and friendly; however, the other front desk associates were not the least bit friendly nor helpful. In addition, the bartender at the restaurant inside the hotel (Lyon) was very rude. We tried to grab a bite at the restaurant, and we arrived around 9:15 (we checked to make sure they were open before we went in, and found out that they were open until 10). We walked in just before some folks who shared an elevator with us, but we sat at an open table and they sat at the bar. While the other folks ordered food at the bar, one of the waiters eventually came over to our table and told us that the kitchen would be closing soon and that we would need to order with the bartender. We quickly went over to order, when the bartender rudely told us that the kitchen was already closed, but he allowed people who came in AFTER us to order even through it was before 9:30! We left frustrated without saying anything to the bartender, but my husband wanted to let the front desk know what had just happened. When we got to the desk the man working there was ruffling through some papers and not listening to us! We ended up leaving very frustrated and found dinner at another establishment. Also, when asking where we could find some ice and water to fill up our water bottles, we were looked at like we were crazy for even bothering the front desk folks with this question. It was a very unpleasant time.

Be careful, they charge you a "destination fee" at the desk, I paid 240 dlls for that but when I reserved in Expedia they gave me a "free night" .

The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and inviting. One tip for future travelers: if you arrive before check-in, the hotel is happy to store your luggage so you can start enjoying the area right away. It’s a convenient service that allowed us to make the most of our first day. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Riverside Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and customer-focused place to stay.

It was a beautiful stay. Definitely has been updated since my previous stays.

Perfect location, clean, family friendly and well maintained. The Boathouse restaurant was wonderful, nice pool by the river. Excellent stay overall. I would definitely recommend staying there.

We were there for 3 days. The hotel is in an amazing area. Right on the Riverwalk and Los Olas. We went to the Boathouse restaurant one evening and it was great food. Went to the pool it was clean. Staff was friendly.

Amazing location. Great staff.

Such a great location and fun to be by the river

The hotel is in an ideal location in the centre of the main shopping. It also has its own water taxi stop too (which is helpful because it’s quite a walk to the beach area). Rooms are lovely and the hotel is spread across a number of buildings that house a bar restaurant and the pool area and fitness Center. Because it’s an old building, the lifts are small and just about get two people plus cases inside. And be aware no one helps with your cases at all, which is unusual in the US. We hauled our cases from the taxi to reception. Were efficiently checked in and then given our keys and told where our rooms were located. No offer of concierge. But that is a minor point really; we enjoyed our time in Fort Lauderdale and would go back to this hotel. Recommended.
