The l9bby had a bad smell

I called this property about 6 weeks prior to my stay to check on the airport and cruise port shuttles. I was told the free airport shuttle is every hour on the hour and the free cruise port shuttles are at 10 and 11 AM. On my arrival date, my plane was delayed by 12 hours. We called from Denver to advise we would be arriving after 1 AM and were told there was no problem with this. We actually landed and got our luggage at approximately 3:30 AM. When I called to check the status of the shuttle, I was advised the next one would be at 5 AM. Not wanting to wait another 1 1/2 hours, we ended up having to take a taxi. This is absurd as the ONLY reason I booked this property was for the free shuttle services. When we got to the hotel, we were forced to use a terminal to check in with an agent in India. The noise in the lobby was quite loud, as several police officers were addressing an issue with one of the clients. Between the noise in the lobby, the shoddy connection, and the thick accent of the agent, check-in was quite tedious. Breakfast not worth the effort. Cruise port shuttle was really good.

Front Desk (Shamtelle?) was very rude. We dealt with her upon our arrival and at our departure. Once again, we were forced to use a terminal in the lobby to check in with through an agent in India. This guy was easier to understand than the one a week earlier, but where is the customer service? Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, a little more selected than a week earlier. Wanted to buy a Diet Coke, was directed to the non-working vending machine. Had a shuttle scheduled to the airport for 10AM on 9/26. At 10:15, I asked a woman directing those to the cruise ports about the airport shuttle when we should expect our shuttle to arrive. She told me the airport shuttles had been cancelled due to the number of those going to the cruise port. She took me to the less than courteous woman at the front desk and an Uber was arranged for me. Two things - if this can be done, why wasn't it done for me a week earlier coming from the airport? Also, why wouldn't someone tell us of the change in our transportation? I am STILL waiting for my receipts from two separate nights for the $7 "resort" fee. Terrible service, nasty staff ... except for the maintenance guy and the shuttle lady. I really feel as though I should have some sort of compensation. Finally, their phone system is ridiculous. I have called upwards of twenty times, listen to options, select correct number, and then get disconnected only to have to start all over.

This place is just outside normal expectations. This location is a parking lot with a run down motel in the way.

I didn’t expect much for what I paid, but this was definitely not good even for the little money vs other places. The property showed its age- rust in the tub, the door wouldn’t lock unless pushed very hard. Check in was a kiosk so it was hard to hear. Did not know we needed our physical receipt for breakfast. Breakfast was not great- small selection. Staff was mostly abrupt & not welcoming- but they probably aren’t paid well so the caliber of employees isn’t great. The main benefit was the shuttle. Will not stay again.

Everything except the check in. The new way to check in. I'd like to go back to having a live person at the counter.

This is a nice, older hotel that’s well taken care of and updated. Staff is friendly and helpful and there’s a great local tavern on the property, Marina 84. Great bar food and it’s definitely a sports bar. The included airport and cruise shuttle were the main reasons we booked the reservations and we were pleasantly surprised overall.

Very fun! The bar was the best part!

PROS: - shuttle service was great. they picked us up from our cruise port in about an hour and it went well - shuttle to airport was also great. workers are nice on the shuttle. - room was clean enough but definitely had hair and other things left behind. - Breakfast was pretty good CONS: here we go - tbh the staff was sooo unhelpful and rude!! I asked them questions about breakfast, shuttle etc. and they said go to the virtual kiosk guy and he will help you. - two insanely loud fire alarms went off at 11pm and 12am and it was so hard to sleep on the bottom floor - wifi cut out every 5 seconds - the AC unit worked but sounded like an engine failure so like if you want a rough night of sleep but you get a shuttle and breakfast… not bad but seriously couldn’t sleep all night because of noise.
