Rodeway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

One room was filled with cigarette and marijuana smoke upon checking in. Second room had lingering smoke smell in the bed. Bathroom counter had toothpaste on it. Virtual check-in agent is a joke.

I loved that the property offered shuttle to and from the airport and cruise terminal. It would have been nice to have a heads up that we needed to book our shuttle back to the airport from the cruise terminal ahead of time. We were also not aware there would be a fee.

I booked multiple rooms on a single reservation and was not allowed to check in to more than one. Had to send in other people from our party. The “free 24 hour shuttle” does not run to/from airport in the mornings. The “free cruise port shuttle “ only runs at 10-11. Cruise port shuttle is then a fee of at least $10/person. So don’t book thinking you’ll check out of room and hang by the pool until your 1:00 cruise check in. I left check-in in tears. My husband who had to check in to one of the other reserved rooms finally convinced them to take us to cruise port at 1130 but they refused to pick him up from airport at 10 so he could return rental car and come back. He paid for an Uber. Rooms were damp but with the AC cranked the smell wasn’t too bad. We were assigned rooms at the farthest point from the single elevator. I expected that as soon as I requested to have the live person check me in because I could not understand the person on video chat.

Great hotel if cruising, it's old but the room was very clean and the AC worked. Free shuttle to the cruise ports going and coming back. The breakfast wasn't good but considering affordability it was perfect.

Our flight was delayed, so we had no shuttle service. Our rooms were clean

We had a short overnight stay before a cruise out of Miami. It was cheaper than staying in Miami and many other places in Ft. Lauderdale. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not the place, but it is not priced like one. Typical Motel, tile floors, gap under the door, quite a bit of noise from people out by the pool etc. Again, it served my purpose just right. The food in the bar was very good. The website advertised free shuttle to the port. That is to the port in Ft. Lauderdale, if you want to go to Miami it was 40.00 a person. So if you are going to Miami I would look into a private company, We got one for 20.00 a person.

Great stay easy check in process and clean rooms pool and everyone very helpful …. Have not been to the bar….

The beds were very comfortable & the breakfast was good.

Perfectly mediocre but with unhelpful, indifferent, slightly rude staff. The most helpful staff member was the kiosk guy in India and the one gift shop lady. The broom-like eye lashes on the rest should have been a dead giveaway. I’d stay here again just given the free shuttles, but I’d have to not find a similar setup somewhere else. The TV and internet went out several times a day, they served ‘breakfast’ but asked us to eat outside, in Florida, … in the summer.

The hotel was excellent for the price and offered breakfast and a very nice pool for their guests. I will always use this hotel whenever I’m in Florida.

Check in here is a bust! They have TV monitor for check in and it's insane ! Took me 25 minutes to check with a nitwit on the TV screen!! Listen to me do not go here!

Muy buena atención del servicio al cliente de la carpeta. Y el club 84. La señora de los desayunos. Pésima atención y necesitan mejor variedad de productos en el Desayuno. Los huevos frios en el refrigerador y nada extra de proteina como chorizo o breakfast potato. El pan el bagel estaba duro que ni tostandolo se arreglaba. La verdad que para nada bueno el desayuno.

The ride to the Miami port was not great arrangements were done, but it wasn’t on time kept getting the run around about the time. Paid for shuttle ride to amd from the airport, didn’t get a ride back after I paid my money in full. I will be calling corporate

You need to accept that this is a budget hotel. It's fun, kitchy and retro. That being said it's a great deal since they provide a shuttle to and from the airport and the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal shuttle leaves at 10 and 11 but that should work for everyone. The breakfast is also good.
