This was the perfect location. Carowinds is literally like a 3 min drive, and downtown charlotte is like a 20 min drive. The breakfast was simple and to the point. I booked it for our 12 year wedding anniversary and it was well received by my wife. The colors and the style of the room makes it feel modern. I would definitely stay again.

I really liked this hotel. I especially liked the cold water dispenser and the fresh ground sustainable coffee machine. My only minor complaint was that the shower had some visible mildew. But it was very little and could have been minor staining. It was very convenient to stay here after visiting Carowinds. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Everything was good and the staff was super helpful. However, there was no coffee maker in the room and so when both of the coffee makers were broken in the lobby, there was no coffee in the morning! For a traveler having to leave super early, that is enough to re-think staying in this hotel again.

I left a $50 deposit on my credit card when I checked in and I still haven't received my refund. I've already emailed the hotel and haven't received a response yet; it's almost been a month!
