Motel 6 Fort Mill, SC - Charlotte

No water cockaroaches had a two bed room only got one friend went to speak with staff were condescending husband went down but was at least acknowledged told the water would be on shortly but wasn't on when left quiet awhile after told shortly there was only a sheet on the bed no remote had to go down and get. Floors were slimy also

Rooms need deep cleaning, honestly, plumbing issues are frequent here, staff are purely friendly once they know you're not a random drunk. Pet friendly.

Location was great! I reserved a room with two beds. When we arrived, the hotel was overbooked. It took about an hour for them to find us a room. Once they finally did, it was just one bed. The shower water temperature never got warm. It was so cold! We asked for an extra blanket, and there were none available. The hallway smelled SOOO bad.

Smells horrible in the corridor

They drag their feet when it’s time for something to be fixed or replaced. But will knock on your door at 11:01 for payment.

The front desk representative was very professional upon check in. I am not always good with names, but you should know who she is. The original reservation was for a Queen with refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and hair dryer. The Housekeeper didn’t have this room set for reservation. However, The front desk was made an immediate reservation to accommodate me and I got a Double Bed Combination with Refrigerator, Microwave, Iron board, and hair dryer. She was nice enough to go and physically check this room, before giving me my keys. Kudos to your front desk representative!

Perfect clean experience

The room was not clean when we walked into our first room. It had cockroaches in the refrigerator and freezer and on the floor floors went down to the front desk show the lady the cockroach. She gave us another room which was not clean. We also booked four non-smoking rooms and ended up getting smoking rooms. The hotel was very ran down and would not recommend anybody to stay there. Parking lot was not very well lite. so it’s kind of sketchy walking in. The room beside of us also had large dogs that barked all night long even after complaining to the front desk.

Comfortable and affordable. Great location as well. Noise ordinance didn't seem to be enforced after hours.

Hotel employee always lies and says no more rooms are available when there's something wrong with the room assigned. And they act like they're scared to tell ppl to keep the noise down after hours. That's apart of the problem

Housekeeping is slack and they have they have bugs they should hire a new exterminator

nothing roaches, smelled dirty, not worth 56 a night i’d pay 15 a night if i got to see rooms before you book, this place really needs an inspection the elevator hasn’t been inspected since 2024

The room was clean , the staff was nice , I recommend, very good for the price

When we checked in we were given a room that was already occupied. We went to open our door and it opened but acted latched from the inside. We tried a couple more times and was like nope this door is not just stuck. Went back to front desk and he came and tried the door as well. Ultimately we were given another room but this is so dangerous. The room we were given was filthy. I went back to the front desk and told the lady working then that our room was filthy could I have a broom and something to wipe everything down with. She was very nice! She gave me a broom and Clorox wipes. There was hair all over our sink and floor. I actually got a mop from her as well so I could mop the floor. I also mopped the walls near the door you could tell stuff was spilt on them. The hall way was filthy when we arrived but I will say it got cleaned up the next day. There was always a musty smoke smell in the hall and our room always smelled funky. The staff we encountered were friendly. I’m not sure what’s going on with the housekeeping department but it needs some help. Also appears to be a LOT of people living there!! We will not be back!!

ENTIRE STAFF WAS UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL, ALSO, I CHECKED IN AT 3PM AND THEY DID NOT GUVE US A ROOM UNTIL 3:45PM. THE HOTEL ROOM DISCRIMINATION SAID THERE WOULD BE A FRIDGE, MICROWAVE AND IT DID NOT. HOTEL GUESTS YELING ALL NOGHT!!!

That it was close to Carowinds and convenient stores. There were dogs everywhere, pit bulls and large dogs inside, the whole hotel on the first floor hallway smells like animal urine and feces and so did the room, room 116. Also the staff was very unprofessional and the side door had the handle broke off and the door was propped open with it. The room I had had trash in it and empty soda bottles under the bed.

Disappointing

My room was upgraded with a refrigerator, microwave, iron, and iron board. The front desk representative upon my check in was professional. My room was clean. I slept well.
