Comfort Inn Fort Mill Amusement Park at Carowinds Blvd

everything was what was expected, clean rooms, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, easy parking, and convient to gas stations, and our destination Carowinds theme park.

I love the location and breakfast was awesome The AC went out in many of the rooms to include ours they never got it working. So we were hot all night

I had problems from the start. My room key would not work, I had to go to the desk and they used a master key to get me in. Said something about the battery being dead, no mention of fixing this or changing my room. Went to turn on the air condition and this was not working. Called the desk and they let me change rooms. in the new room I went to move the alarm clock on the bedside table and there was something wet and sticky underneath Whatever it was smelled really bad. I would not recommend staying here.

Cons: The exterior door near my room slams shut each time it closes, all night long. I went for breakfast at 8 am. Everything was hard and cold or unavailable. There was no regular coffee and I couldn’t find a staff member for more. It was far below the standards I’m used to from Comfort Inns.

How close it was to carowinds Really nothing I didn’t like but it was pretty average hotel

It’s close to Carowinds and cheap. That’s it. Room was dirty, ice bucket was sticky, TV remote was some cheap remote where half the buttons didn’t function. Ice machine on second floor didn’t work. Food was spilled outside front entrance of lobby before we arrived Friday night and was still there when we left Sunday morning. Breakfast was just ok, coffee was terrible and carafe was broken. The only positive was that we didn’t spend much time there, sleep then go to park. Will NOT go back. My advice, find another hotel, there are many close, and spend an extra few dollars and an extra few minutes driving to the park.

I absolutely loved the hotel, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the General Manager and the front desk staff. They were truly amazing and did everything they could to help. Unfortunately, my experience with Booking.com was completely different. Within 10 minutes of making my reservation, I realized there was an issue with my dates and immediately reached out for help. Instead of receiving assistance, I was repeatedly passed around and given information that was not accurate. The situation was extremely frustrating, especially because I reached out almost immediately after making the reservation. As a VIP member, I expected much better customer service and support. Unfortunately, the way this was handled ultimately caused me to lose money. Going forward, I will be calling the hotels directly to make my reservations. The hotel itself was wonderful, but Booking.com’s handling of this situation was extremely disappointing.

Like I said before was impossible to get sleep because the people were laughing, screaming until 2 or 3 am , at 7:00 am a man from the hotel call at our door to ask if the air condition was working, that was unacceptable
