Sleep Inn Fort Mill near Carowinds Blvd

Great stay, clean rooms, courteous staff,waffles for breakfast,great water pressure!

We had a terrible encounter at breakfast with another guests that decided my kids were impolite and took upon herself to YELL and SCRaeAM at me. She used bad words, bad language and the only thing I said was that she didn't have the right to scream at me or point her finger at me. The staff came to break her apart from me when she was clearly altered in her mental state. This was the 1st time of my family staying at a sleep inn and quite honest, the last one. Horrible experience. The manager said that I needed to have walked away and not said anything. I don't agree with it and I wasn't at all on fault of it.

Whole place smells like weed

We checked in at 1am. The shower was dirty and hair was left from a prior guest. The hallways smell of mildew. The shower floor is very slippery.

No protein hot food for breakfast, only waffles.

Room was clean. Would have liked to know before hand that the pool was closed and weight room equipment was not usable. Nothing worked. The breakfast was ok. Liked that you could make fresh waffles. It was ok for a 1 night stay

It was close to the park. There was not much selection for breakfast. All carbohydrates and not much variety. Some fixtures in room a bit dated.

It was a good place for what we needed & has a Cracker Barrel right next door, which was great after a long day of travel. There was a strong pot smell in the hallway on the 3rd floor & also coming from the bathroom vent in my son's room. This place is right across the street from a theme park, so traffic can be tricky.

This is very close to Carowinds. This is why we stayed here. Extremely clean property. Respectful staff and quick check-in/check-out. Nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary but it was everything we needed it to be.

The location and price for this room was great. The room felt cramped for our family of 3 (mom, dad, and 11 year old). There wasn't much room for luggage, and the bed closest to the bathroom was TOO CLOSE.

-NOT a great breakfast, VERY basic, NOT much to choose from, We had sour milk! 5 min before 9am a lady started to pack everything away and said loud, get what you can I am closing down, there were plenty guests still eating. Keep in mind if you go with kids to the amusement park they don't eat breakfast between 6am and 8am, they usually still sleep since park don't open til 10 am. Upon check in I had a very friendly young Man, he was India. Then There was a very rude lady that was very short cut in her answers and twice gave me a smart A$$ answer when I asked if the breakfast was set up cause there was barely anything there. I was told it is continental not to expect to much. Well I ate in plenty places with Continental breakfast and got more then a dry bagel, or old cereal with sour milk. Fruit basket only had 2 apples and 3 small bananas. Keep in mind there was plenty kids eating there.

Property is in a great location and the management and staff are excellent. Im a frequent visitor to this location and they are second to none.

I liked the price and location The place was not as advertised. No pool, dirty sheets, musty bathroom, poor lighting, dingy carpet. The pictures on the booking link do not reflect the reality of this place.
