TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Gulf Coast

The breakfast is above and beyond a typical breakfast. There was 2 options of hot food, eggs and biscuits with sausage. The scrambled eggs were delicious. There are many options, toast, waffle maker, cereals, grains, nut assortments. There was also coffee and tea of course. The gym has limited equipment regarding free weights but I belong too an LA Fitness which was only 2 miles away.

My wife is confined to a wheelchair, I booked and got an accessible room. That said, when in the shower the bench was too far back to use the normal shower so she used the hand held one. The only problem then was that the water went under the shower curtain and wet the rest of the bathroom floor and the body wash and shampoo was the out of reach, so I had to put some in my hand and transferred over to her. Only little things, but to a disabled person it’s a lot. Please rectify urgently.

The hotel was very well maintained. It looked new, clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakgast was surprisingly good. We did have an issue with our AC. When we walked into our room it was set at 68, we turned it up to 72. On the 2nd night we woke up to the sound of dripping at 4am. It seemed the AC unit had frozen or thawed out. It was cooling fine, but there was water all over the carpet and the window sill. Also just a word of caution - be careful with the floor in the kitchen of the suite, it is VERY slippery when wet. I wasn't thrilled with housekeeping not making the bed daily.

The rooms flood when it rains and they look at you like it's your fault, the manager has a very bad attitude. I would never stay here again. Luggage and electronics were damaged due to room flooding on the 6th floor #605

Very new clean hotel, the staff were just amazing, very helpful and friendly, big thanks to Sasha at Front desk, and the manager on duty can’t remember his name we were so Jet lagged, they were awesome helping us out, and the pool was just perfect after a long flight

Great new hotel is newer business area. Location isn’t perfect but checks many overnight stay needs. Will utilize again as hotel is close to several customers.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room very clean.

Everything was great. The only complaint is that the cord on the blow dryer is to short. It’s only 3 feet long I had a hard time drying my hair

Everything was clean and everyone was super nice however, the breakfast was absolutely horrible. The waffles tasted sour almost like the batter itself was rotten.
