Red Roof Inn & Suites Middletown - Franklin

Several outlets were damaged or didn't work. The TV didn't work. One wall light didn't work. The shower control knob came off in our hands. The mattress was like bare springs in a burlap bag. Check in was at a kiosk on closed-circuit TV with someone, heaven only knows where he was, that barely spoke English. There were people walking up and down the halls all night long. The only redeeming quality is that it was clean.

We never got a chance because they canceled our reservation without telling us it was canceled.

I booked the room got to the motel and was told there was no reservation. I will never stay there again

No staff. Room was ok. Hotel has bugs. Won't be staying at a red roof inn, for awhile. Wouldn't be in my top 10.

Had something available in my time of need. Allowed my 2 dogs No human too do check in. Had to do a vidro chat with an AI bot that was hard to understand The fire alarm went off at midnight,3am, and 330am

The televisions were not working the whole time I was there in the room.

Everything was clean and staff was really friendly.

Refused to stay at the property after checking. Checkin is a virtual assistant machine, the actual check in desk is behind bullet proof glass and not attended. Completed checking and the drove around the parking lot to park and go in. Parking lot was full of broken down and appeared to be abondend cars and old rvs. Went upto our room, toilet seat was broken off, not the room I had booked on line as it was to have a jetted tub. Seat cover chair in the room was cracked open. Bed spread was stained and dirty.Overall the hotel was filthy, dirty and had a strong foul stench.requested to cancel my booking and get a refund since it was not a safe place to stay nor as advertised. Was told by some young man that finally came out to behind the bullet proof glass that I needed to take that up with expedia as we would not help me. This motel is absolutely nothing like the photos, appears to be nothing more than a local flop house. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Left the property within 5 mins of checking in and went and found another motel just down the street.

First week under new management and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. Will stay here again.

Black.mold.i. fridge trim stained sheets even agter getting diff sheets . Was told thats all they had. What hotel gives has only stained sheets. Bath tub did not drain. Lights out in room.Would never recommend them.

Our key card didn't work and we had to go back downstairs for help and to get a new key. The woman who helped get us a new key was friendly, but she was the only staff member we saw the whole time we were there. Check in/check out is wayyyy more complicated with the electronic check in/out system kiosk. It makes everything much slower than talking face to face with someone. Posted everywhere downstairs that there's no smoking, but the whole lobby smelled of stale cigarettes.
