We picked this hotel because it had a restaurant attached and we had no vehicle. We get there and was told the restaurant was closed. We were also told we would have a walk in shower but were given a tub/shower combo.

Definitely not the cleanest room. Stains on the curtains ..could see dirt and stains clearly all over the chair and sofa so didn’t sit on those. So living room was pointless! The knob to pull to turn on the shower fell out in the tub, so shower didn’t work in the morning. Will stay some were else for sure when in Fredrick,md.

Computer issues. Long long wait to check in. Unable to provide check in without the system being online. Staff was apologetic but 90 plus minutes to check in was not acceptable.

Ridiculous night at this location. Check in at 3pm was delayed 1hr 25 minutes due rooms not being cleaned yet. When rooms became available, folks were told they would take those that tried to check in at 3pm first. Instead, folks crowded to the only front desk attendant and we were waiting and waiting and waiting behind all those who dove on line first. After the first hour of waiting, we had explained we needed to RUSH to get to a funeral nearly a half hour away. We needed to shower and dress etc as we had a 4 hr drive up to Frederick. We were told there was no place available for us to even just change and attend without showering etc. We finally got to our room at 4:25pm. The funeral was at 5pm. What a ridiculous experience. To add to it, we were told no bar and no restaurant available although that’s THE REASON we wanted to stay there. We had plans to invite friends back to dinner etc after the funeral. But the problems continued. I call later that evening to ask the desk attendant to add my Hilton Honors number to the reservation and was told all systems were down for 4 hrs and counting. REALLY?? Just a REALLY BAD experience.

No hand soap upon check in and when I requested it from housekeeper said she had to ask someone downstairs. Even after explaining we didn't have in at check in. When asked for fresh towels the next day housekeeper again said she needed to ask someone! We were traveling with 2 young children who used the pool and needed fresh towels. Large full size mirror fell off wall narrowly missed hitting 6 year old. Upon inspection 2 areas of glue was the only thing holding it on the wall. There was no concern shown for child. No apology.

Absolutely loved the stay!! Hamit was AMAZING at the restaurant!!! The desk staff was wonderful. Only issue was only 2 handicap parking spaces. 10/10 recommend

Hotel was very dated and need of a renovation not up to the Hilton standard. Staff was helpful and pleasant but the hotel is just not in good shape.

The Staff was Polite and took care of us.

house keeping was not helpful to clean a soiled bedsheet. when asked for the help, she handed the sheets to me to do it myself. kleenex box was empty on arrival and was not refilled during the stay. minor stuff but annoying and simple to correct.

Frederick lacks great hotel options. Hopefully, this is changing. I will say that the people here were great.

Very hospitable, clean, great mattress. Not one flaw!

sound and picture quality. The selection of channels was bare minimum, the remote to the tv reminded me of a toy, the guide button did not work and a few times the picture went black but the sound stayed. I was surprised that there wasn’t a buffet breakfast. I had stayed at another Hilton recently that wasn’t too far from this one and it served a buffet breakfast to all of the guests if they chose to have breakfast. It was comforting to know and made to feel included. The Hilton in Frederick may want to reconsider the breakfast rules. Free coffee but all items had a fee. Water had a fee after the obligatory 1 or 2 bottles that were in the room. Really?? This is Hilton.. charging over breakfast?? I probably won’t stay at this particular Hilton until these issues are upgraded.
