Super 8 by Wyndham Fredericksburg

The TV didn’t work in the 1st room we checked into, so the front desk employee was very helpful in getting us another room with same amenities; however, the bathroom door in the 2nd room didn’t close all the way & couldn’t be locked plus the toilet seat would not stay up at all when wanting to use the bathroom for a man.

Great staff team, clean well appointed room, free parking and a good breakfast. Only 5 minutes walk into the town centre.

The hotel was older, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the property and rooms were clean. Upon arrival, we noticed our sheets were dirty, they gave us new ones and as we went to change them, dead/dried crickets fell out of the sheets. The Matress pad was also stained and dirty. There were dead bugs in every corner. There was even a dead roach dried and stuck to the window shade. The room was updated fairly recently (so pictures can be deceiving), but the bathroom door and door jam was swollen and brown around the bottom edges, and the backside of the door appeared as if something had chewed from the bathroom side. There was a small roach climbing on the wall next to the bed. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Room was disgusting. Immediately went and turned the keys back in but couldn’t get a refund because the property “couldn’t” help and neither could Expedia. Out $150 and had to book somewhere else

Didn’t really spend time in hotel other than sleeping and getting ready. Very close to all the shopping on Main St

the staff was friendly, clean room

The lobby staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was not ready when we got there, however the cleaning lady finished it up pretty quick. The breakfast was pretty simple, cereal and bread, no eggs nor bacon as in other ones Super 8s, but it was good.

Dirty floor in bathroom, pee on commode seat, and ceiling needs painting.

Great value, great room size

The location of the hotel to the downtown area was great and convenient. The rooms seemed dirty, our bathroom door needs some work, you had to push really hard and try to lift up on the door the close it. The were dead and some alive bugs, like beetles throughout the room. Also with first entering the room, it smelt musty and mildew like, once we cranked down the ac and went and bought and air freshener to put in the vent it was much better.

My stay at Super 8 was disappointing. The room was not clean when I arrived, and the bedding looked like it had already been slept in, which was very concerning. The bathroom vent did not work, making the bathroom uncomfortable to use. In addition, the lamps were in poor condition and appeared worn out and damaged. Overall, the room did not meet basic cleanliness and maintenance standards, and I would not choose to stay here again.

It is very reasonably priced and very conveniently located on Main Street in Fredericksburg.

A comfortable bed. Walking distance to historic downtown.

Everything about the motel was great but it would be a lot better if the breakfast had at least eggs.

Easy parking, friendly staff, room was clean, wish there was more breakfast variety.
