It was super clean, everyone was super nice, and it was dog friendly!
-
Great location in the heart of downtown, just a block away from Main St. shopping and dining! We were only there for one night and didn’t have time to take advantage of the hotel spa, bar, and restaurants, but will definitely return for a longer weekend in the future! Room had spa like atmosphere and bed was very comfy. Staff was very welcoming and courteous!

Location was awesome. Love the atmosphere and quality

Thoughtful design in the heart of the town

The room was large and as clean as any hotel room I've ever stayed in. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fredericksburg.
-
I gave a rating of 3 instead of the best score of 5 because they would override my room's thermostat setting to a point of being hot at night, making it impossible to sleep. Promised to correct it but did not.

We really enjoyed the location, staff, cleanliness, and design of this hotel. It was the perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. We were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. The only complaint I have is based on principle alone. We were charged a $25 per day amenity fee that is not disclosed anywhere and it is not mentioned or listed at check-in. The fee was in addition to the $26.50 daily fee/tax that is disclosed on Expedia and mentioned at check-in. The only reason we caught the additional charge is because we charged some drinks to the room and thought the bartender must have added a tip to the ticket. When we asked for a list of room charges, we noticed the $25 amenity fee. The staff said everyone is charged the fee every day even if you do not use the amenities, but they did refund the charge to us without any hassle. One other small mention - we were on the first floor and the noise from people walking upstairs woke us up multiple times (we sleep hard too so it’s shocking it woke us up). If you are sensitive to sound, try to get on the top floor.

I will definitely stop by this hotel again when visiting Fredericksburg. The hotel rooms feel quite spacious. The double queen room did not feel cramped and is structure in a unique design. The food in all of their restaurants are great.

Incredible hotel, would highly recommend

It was a very beautiful and unique resort style hotel!

Everything about The Albert was wonderful! The staff were all very helpful, the hotel is clean and well put together, the location to Main Street made it very easy to go back and forth and really enjoy all the hotel had to offer in between being out and about.
-
The Springs room was spacious. The hotel is right off Main St making it easy to walk to several restaurants and shops. Self parking on the street is free and convenient to the hotel.
-
We absolutely loved Albert Hotel, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Fredericksburg now. Everything was pristine and comfortable, everything you could possibly need at your finger tips. I also believe every hotel review should mention and take into account the shower: this shower was probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, the pressure was phenomenal. Would stay again for that alone.

Location was great, walking to restaurants and downtown is easy. Spa services are expensive but very good!
-
We got a cabana the first day amd we distracted even get everything we ordered that came with it

Great hotel for a small town!
-
The bed was very comfortable and bathroom toiletries were exquisite (because of these things I gave an extra star). The room was pleasant, but sparsely furnished. Wish we had a chair to sit in. Window seat looked stylish but was not comfortable. Bartender in the lobby only knew how to make the few specialty drinks the hotel offers. He didn’t know how to change the TV either. No icemakers in public area, had to ask staff for ice, and had to give them something to put it in. For the price of the hotel I expected more.
-
Overall the location is great, but still, for this price point I expected better amenities, a walk in shower and bottled water I could trust to drink.
-
I ordered breakfast on the card they gave to put outside the door and never got it when I looked the card was still at the door!!

Room was comfortable and very large. Be aware that a sunken king room is in the basement. Not bad and does have a fairly large window. Need nightstands, better lighting, and a least a chair for sitting.
