Old, but well maintained property with decent breakfast not too far from city centre

Our room smelled like mildew and felt like a Motel 6. It had minimal amenities, out-of-date decor, and was poorly maintained all-around. The sink didn't have a stopper, the toilet moved, the bed was really hard, the shower was difficult to get to a proper temperature, and a hole in the wall by the shower was patched in a tacky manner. Also, on day 2, our room key wouldn't work. I went to the office and was told that no one was available to reactivate our keys for 2 1/2 hours. We were let into our room, but it was inconvenient to have to go to the office twice. Finally, you have to be quick to get the free breakfast. It is only available for 1 1/2 hours. When we got there for the last 20 minutes, much of the food was gone. The lady in charge was out front having a cigarette break, so we waited for her to return to replenish items. When she returned, she was friendly, but informed us that she was out of several things. Parking was good. I would not recommend this motel.

I absolutely love this place!! Supper nice people quite safe easy walk to downtown!!! And is so reasonable you can actually enjoy the stay!! Room are really clean nice and homey !!! TRUELY a NICE PLACE THANK YOU !!

I like the hotel priced on weeknights The price hike on Saturday of over double was ridiculous and not even on par for other options. I will book again but I wouldn’t spend more than 80 bucks on this old carpet smelling inn, and risk some weirdo having my key card ? Pay a night person !

The shower was not clean looking maybe, because it’s old but there was hair in the drain. The toilet was SO short. There was men’s facial hair all around the sink. The sheets on the bed were clean & crisp. Room 112 was a bit musty. Smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms but, is allowed on the property. The owners were very nice & friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Coffee was ok. Plenty of parking on the property & close to our room. Convenient location. Could definitely use an upgrade.

Affordabe price. Desk person was very nice. Definitely needs remodeling & updated! Tub looked dirty but I think it is just very old and finish is damaged/discolored. No hair dryer. I didn't bring one because most places have one in the room. Would not stay again unless rooms were to get a total remodel. Too many other choices at a lower price or about the same price that may have newer updates to room. Just looked very old which made it feel dirty even though I think the cleaning people do the best they can with what they have to work with. Please remodel/update!

The motel is old-style, park near your room door, and we like that. No elevators here, only stairs It was clean, very comfortable, and they offer full breakfast on weekends. We will stay again. Busy road on 2 sides of building, but our AC ran and covered most of the noise.

Need more lighting in the rooms it's hard to work on a computer for work

This place is OLD. Needs serious maintenance and deep clean - refurbishing. Only positive thing I can say is the sheets and towels were super clean and smelled great.I made the mistake of not reading all of the reviews and saw only the reviews that said it was old yet very clean. It isn’t. Everything looks grimy and unkept. Pay more elsewhere.

Nothing. Booking.com and this motel didn’t cancel my reservation. Before my trip I decided to check my commute and saw 3.1 stars reviews there with a huge amount of cockroaches, also the price 78$ instead of 160$ that I’ve paid. Rooms were really clean and especially the great sofa in there and you out did yourself for our continental breakfast. Will for sure be our stay everytime we come visit Fredricksburg. Thank you for your great hospitality. N/A

Location is good, shower curtain lets all the water out and makes a mess on the floor. Mattress is equivalent to sleeping on the floor; very hard.
