The property looked fairly new. Great location with proximity to the mall, foods, parks. Breakfast was great.

When I tried to check in the there was no one at the front desk. It took 20 minutes for someone to show up. My TV didn't work.

I always love staying in this hotel. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are always amazing. They give us a couple of free water bottles-- which is so nice when you've been traveling for hours to get there. The pool was perfect. I love how the rooms have little sayings on the items-- for instance the hairdryer says "great hair day" and you just feel like you will have a great hair day! The AC is awesome. The lighting is perfect. I love the games they have downstairs. The breakfast is pretty good. The location is perfect for kidzania, the mall, universal kids, etc. Overall, probably top 3 best hotel I've ever stayed in! Just that the water in the showers doesn't get very hot. My husband said the eggs at breakfast weren't the best.

Cleanliness Lukewarm shower

The water to shower was very lukewarm, it was almost like showering with cold water. It was not a pleasurable experience for 5 nights.

Check in was amazing and fast. The room was clean. The bed was soft. Breakfast was ok. Not mich there for those with gluten allergies, but thats OK.

Just like all the Tru properties, this one was clean and staff great. Breakfast provided as well

Excellent hotel specially for buisness travel, New building what keeps the amenities cool and inviting. The lounge/reception is the best part of this hotel, you can hang out, work or recieve your guest there with a fresh cup of coffee that is provided by TRU on a permanent coffee station...and games like a pool table & family games! Snacks and other drinks can be find at the reception at extra charge. Rooms without stinky carpets! Fresh shower that have good bath products! Only complaint > quality of toilet paper wasnt great! plus pillows were yes with clean linens but with smelly pillows in them... which affected the odor in the room (i fixed this quickly discarding the pillow) and using a towel on top of the only one "clean". House keeping should request to swap these articles often to make an "A" experience at this rooms! Other comment...not enough storage for your garments. NO closets..just 5 hangers in an open space , a dresser or any kind of drawers will become very handy on this room! Although they have a desk & clean frigo bar that is awesome for Tx heat! Speaking of, water...want some, they dont offer bottles only got TRU plastic bottles here at extra $ and... ice or filter water 24/7 by the gym area. Pool is great but not huge, doesnt have enough sun beds, no staff to guide neither trash cans?!? Plus it faces a parking lot with mall traffic which mades it hard to relax! Good & Simple breakfast area that is removed by 9:30am...But OVERALL TRU was a great facility!

On the positive side, the room was clean and the hotel was convenient for our stay. However, the unexplained charge and the way my card was handled made the overall experience frustrating and concerning.

When I checked out on July 31 and went to get my car, I discovered it had been stolen from the hotel parking lot. The hotel staff did help the police by providing security camera footage, but throughout the process they made it clear they were not responsible for vehicles in the parking lot, and there are signs posted everywhere stating that. The room and the cleanliness were good, and I have no complaints about that. I would just advise guests to be careful. Those warning signs throughout the parking lot are there for a reason, and unfortunately I understood why when I couldn’t even return home because my car had been stolen.

Also a light smell in the room caused by dirty linens (pillow or downcomforter who knows!) but that was the only complain. They have great breakfast, coffee station all day and nice relaxing pool!

Our AC struggled to keep up in our room but overall it was reasonable.

The system was down so I never got to check in and had to go to a different hotel

Updated facility, nice swimming pool. Friendly staff. Only stayed overnight but area is super close to mall and restaurants. Easy free parking!
