The main problem is that this hotel is just a bit run down. It needs a remodel.

Awesome place to stay

The property was tidy and easy to locate.

Room was very nice, great location. Staff was great . Highly recommend

Overall the hotel was OK, but not once during our 4 night stay did they clean/ refresh/ make up our room. We were told that it happens after the 3rd night automatically when we asked after the 2nd night. But they couldn’t fit us into their schedule so we were told it would happen the next day. At checkout I told them I was unhappy and the only response I got was that it would be shared with management. Poor way to run a business, especially since we paid premium for a busy weekend. Not going to stay there again.

No wifi in the room and no signal for the mobile. I adressed the issue several times but nobody helped.

I am very satisfied.

Property is old and ok for the price don't expect clean expect minor clean with maybe a door that your key card doesn't constantly reset

Breakfast was included and it was actually pretty gross. The half and half for the coffee was expired by over 6 weeks! I found out because I opened one that had clabbered and was thick and disguising. Next thing was the cheese in the omelette was like a cheap off brand of a Kraft cheese slice or something because it didn’t even taste like cheese at all. Very gross and off putting. I get that it’s not supposed to be a gourmet meal but I have stayed at many different kinds of hotels with breakfast and never had something this bad. Something just a little annoying was there was no body wash, just a really terrible bar of soap. Again not expecting luxury but I feel like it’s pretty standard in all comparable hotels. We could never get the WiFi to work. It wanted all kinds of info to connect and still never did. Cleanliness- the walls had dust on them and inside every lamp or light was full of dust. It was hanging off photo frames as well. There was also some kind of splatter on one of our walls. The last small thing is the pool had glass beer bottle trash at 11 am. So if it was from the night before nobody checks clearly. Wish I would have seen a review like this prior to booking! But I think we all have different expectations of cleanliness and service.

Great staff. Game day decorations were fun.

I like the fact that the staff was friendly and welcoming. Also liked the breakfast and the courtesy shuttle to the game. The room had a bad odor and was outdated. The beds were not queen size as stated in the ad but full beds. There were no updated charging outlets.

I booked on Expedia. I selected the "reserve now pay at hotel" option which is the option I have ALWAYS chosen. However they charged my card PRIOR to my check in date and when I inquired about it, I was told that when the hotel is booked to capacity then they charge you. I pointed out that WASN'T listed anywhere on Expedia or on the website and they said they know. So maybe put that on Expedia and the website so people can be aware of it. Other than That incident the stay was pretty much ok

The staff …The owner was on site and was very friendly with all of us…They grilled out and provided us with shuttle service to and from the game

The location is fantastic. Sam's Club, Target, Publix, CVS, Best Buy, Trader Joe's, and a wide variety of restaurants and shops are all within a 5-minute drive. The rate was reasonable, and the room was spacious and clean—complete with a spotless bathroom, kitchen, safe, closet, desk, bed, and sofa. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included at such a great rate; the selection was perfect for a light, satisfying meal. This will definitely be my top choice whenever I visit Gainesville.
