Comfort Inn Gainesville - University Area

My mom uses a wheelchair. Regarding my reservation, I explained that the room wasn't the right one, so I had them move us from the 4th floor to the 2nd because my mom was tired. Breakfast wasn't bad, but it was the same thing every day—no variety

The shower had someone else’s body scrub CDP clearly wasn’t cleaned. TY here was no body wash, just bat soap. The breakfast was meager.

Clean rooms and hot breakfasts awesome and staff was very helpful and we chose for location to shands hospital in Gainesville very close. We thank u very much. We recommend the hotel to other travelers

Room was ok for 1 night, but the whole hotel has musty smell like it was flooded recently. Room was very humid too. My fabric weekender bag was soaked just seated in the room. May be they had some issues recently. I don’t know. Breakfast was nice and appreciated. For the cheapest rate in town it was ok.

The building is old and rooms could use a deep cleaning, Furniture in my honest opinion needs to be upgraded, for one /two nights was ok, Breakfast items are very limited. But anyone could eat a quick meal. Thank you very much

Great room. Simple breakfast buffet. Coffee and juice with fresh fruit. Eggs and sausage. Some cereal and bread options.

We were very satisfied with our room and the breakfast was delicious 😋

The Comfort Inn was a nice stay, especially with pets. My only complaint was that the room smelled like it was mopped with a sour mop.

I have no clue how this hotel has the reputation it does. We got there and apparently theTV has a cord that needs to be in front of it to use the remote so the remote wouldn’t work front desk. Staff had to come in and show me. Next the Wi-Fi password they gave me would not work. Had to call an 800 number to get a pin. The breakfast the next morning was incredibly dry. The hotel itself looks really rundown. The pool is very small. It’s supposed to be a pillow top mattress, definitely not. If you like firm your good. The pros it was affordable. It was right next to I 75 and near all convenient restaurants and stores, but the overall hotel was rundown has not been updated and definitely just mheh.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. I truly appreciate their great service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect hotel for our overnight stop. We stay here all the time THE STAFF IS SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. AND IT IS ALWAYS DECORATED SO FESTIVE FOR EVERY SEASON. THE BREAKFAST IS FANTASTIC
