Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville

So many options for entertainment and dining without even leaving the hotel.

Hotel rooms need to be updated. Room was never serviced

Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast vouchers that essentially cover nothing so don’t feel like you’re getting any perk all I really want you to do is go down and buy their breakfast

Great!

Got stuck in the elevator and it took a while to get out! Not really near anything at all

Was in Gainesville for football game but unfortunately the front desk wouldn’t check us in on time due to no rooms, and after the game their on site restaurant told us it would be an hour and a half for food. The room was fine but these two issues detracted from the plus of having this room for game day.

Staff

Never stay in Room 302! Air conditioner was leaking and made the carpet wet. Must have been happening for some time. The room smelled of horrible mold. You could smell it from outside the door. We would have left, but didn’t arrive from our evening until well after midnight. Still waiting on a call from the hotel manager.

The hallway and elevator waiting area had guest trash in it for several hours. It was terrible just gave a bad impression. The hotel and rooms were very clean though.

loved the room

Overall, a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay

Had the best experience at Chula’s Steak House!9

I was also very disappointed to discover that the hotel rooms do not have microwaves and that there was no microwave available for guests to heat their food. For a Hilton conference hotel, I expected better basic accommodations and a more professional approach to guest service.

The hotel and room were nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located close to all the shops and just a 15-minute drive from the business campus. We would definitely stay here again next time!

Wasn’t bad but was old and a little dirty

Check in was easy however it seemed the room was currently being utilized when I checked in. However, they were able to upgrade and accommodate with a better room. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean.

The room was clean but not so much the comforter and pillowcase. Make sure you boil water several times in the coffee maker before you make your coffee. You would be surprised what comes out of it. Overall the rest was a comfortable visit and would visit again.

The breakfast at the restaurant was ok, I think it could be better. Ladies are a bit loud.

Our room was never cleaned we had find someone to get fresh towels
