The bar and lounge area is a lot of fun. Very nice bartenders. The pool is dated and needs a renovation. The concrete inside the pool is full of holes. The whole hotel looks like it could use a coat of paint and maybe some simple upgrades. Good value for the price paid and great location to University of Florida. Free parking is a PLUS!

It was sooo nice! We will be coming back for sure

The pool was not clean. Unusual, based on other Hiltons, to see the pool water not clear, with algae. The Jacuzzi water was not hot.

They need to put a cover on the box springs. It’s stained yellow and pretty gross. I’ve stayed here 3 times because it’s close to the college campus but I think this is my last time. The No Name Bar was good and the staff are nice but the front office staff is wildly different from Hiltons I’ve stayed at shouting “next!” Instead of “welcome to Hilton”, “thank you for being a Hilton Honors member” like the other Hiltons. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking simple questions.

This hotel is at best just ok. The bathtub had dark marks on it. There was mold between the tiles.

Another disappoint for me, as someone who always leaves very early, is that there is no “lobby” coffee anymore. I tried to use the room coffee, but the creamers were bad, and you can’t tell until you put them in your coffee and see the curdled mess. I had to dump out the cup. I’m hoping they update/refresh some things in the future.

Bottle water in the room

Hilton charged me twice for incidentals. So I got charged $50 x 2. It has not been refunded yet. I checked out three days ago. The front desk person asked me to call back during the week to speak with their financial person. I just happened to be checking my bank statements and caught this. Great location. Bathrooms are definitely need some refurbishing.

I liked how spacious the room was and how close it was to the University of Florida. I also enjoyed the facilities, the gym and pool and bar were amazing. There was not much that I didn't like. One thing was that our room was not cleaned during our stay, we stayed for 2 nights.

We booked a King and was told when we checked in that they didn't have any and we would be in a 2 Full room. Very disappointed with this stay.
-
It’s a shame that on the day I checked out it was 10:50am when I asked for a cup of coffee the gentleman said free coffee is over at 11am- I said well it’s not time yet he said we are out of coffee. I understood what he was implying so I walked away.

The one disappointment during our stay was housekeeping. We stayed multiple nights with two teenagers and returned to our room expecting it to be serviced, only to find unmade beds, used towels on the bathroom floor, and the room generally untouched. We were never informed at check-in that daily maid service was not provided or that housekeeping needed to be requested. While I did not contact the front desk to inquire or complain, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding this policy, as it would have helped us set expectations and make arrangements accordingly. Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations. With clearer communication about housekeeping services, our stay would have been even better.

Only 2 cups and minimal coffee/ creamer in the room. No water in the room! No free water available anywhere close. Light in the bathroom turns off. No breakfast included.
