Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida

The room was ok but the hall and room had some strong smell. I guess cleaning solution but the room was clean but not sure how clean as I noticed hair and stuff on the walls. Staff was nice and accommodating but the workout room lacked equipment and no pool. Not much within walking distance. Would not stay here again.

Valet parking, reception service, and room size: excellent. The rooms are only cleaned if you leave the hotel early. We removed the "do not disturb" sign at 10 am and the room was not cleaned.

The staff was excellent throughout the property. Genuinely friendly, professional, and helpful. The restaurant was also a highlight: good food, and great service. The front desk and parking team were equally welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, the room itself was well below what we expected from a four-star hotel. Our first room had a strong mold/musty smell, so we requested a change. The second room had the same issue, and the smell was strong enough that both of us needed allergy medication during the night. The AC was extremely loud, difficult to regulate, and blew directly toward the bed. The mattress and pillows were also very uncomfortable. These are fundamental comfort and cleanliness standards that any hotel room should meet.

Best hotel in Gainesville!! Super clean and secure, and the staff and valet are the absolute best!! I highly recommend this hotel and feel so lucky that they came to my rescue to accommodate me during a very difficult time. I love the Hotel Eleo!!! Nothing - I LOVE HOTEL ELEO!!!

Loved how clean and smelled wonderful we were a little disappointed that we weren't told it was valet parking ONLY we had our camper with us but they found a place for us to park No Breakfast otherwise it was very pleasant hotel beds are cozy comfy AC was Great!!!

Wonderful and well maintained property. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay in hotel Eleo, it is very close to the Florida University veterinary hospital and to the campus. We had breakfast and had dinner at the restaurant every day, we were sitting with our dog in the outside patio. The bathroom was spotless clean and the front desk and valet very accomodating.

I highly recommend it! Wonderful place. Staff extremely helpful and valet perfect..

The property was minutes away from the dorms and very clean. The staff were nice. Valet was excellent. The room was amazing!!!! I will definitely be staying again. The food. We ordered two sandwiches via room service with small Caesar and fries the price with added tip and delivery was $68. The food was lukewarm and the prime rib sandwich was gnarly. I was so tired from my drive up and from moving stuff to the dorm so we didn’t feel like going out. I definitely would not recommend the food. The rest of the hotel was amazing though, skip the food.

This is a grand hotel. The car parking was by valet only, and that restricted access to our personal vehicle. The parking attendants were super.
