The location was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only issue was a/c was loud and the bathroom drain was in need adjustment. They were very accomodating and moved us to another room immediately.

Young woman who checked me in was very professional. Room was clean. Property needs a lot of exterior maintenance.

The breakfast was not what we expected

The smell of dampness (and dust mites) - right there in the reception area - made me prefer to forfeit the cost of the reservation (since it could no longer be canceled) rather than stay at the hotel with my family. I don’t recommend it. It’s like a scam.

The room was full of water. The clothes in our room was wet. Had to hang them outside to get them dry. Told the manager and he said he would check it but never did. Will not stay at a Quality Inn again. Went for a graduation and was very disappointed

I am handicapped and because they put me in a room that was the 2nd farthest from the front, I could not walk up in the morning for breakfast. I tried calling the hotel several times prior to my arrival and at different times of the day to let them know about my physical limitations and try to get an appropriate room. Was never able to get an answer. The 2nd night there in the evening when I was taking a shower I heard 3 loud thuds. My son immediately was knocking on the bathroom door to let me know something was going on next door and he heard the thuds as well as glass breaking. He said he also heard people arguing and they were outside. The next morning we saw that the front window of the room next door had a huge hole and there was still glass on the outside of the room, sidewalk and into the parking lot. It appeared that something was thrown from inside the room, outside. A couple days later I noticed a dent in the passenger front panel of my car (my car was backed into the parking space). While I can't 100% say it was due to the incident next door, nothing else of significance happened relating to my vehicle. I had a handicap shower in the room as well. Only problem was that there was no rise or lip on the floor along the length of the shower to prevent the water from running out. As a consequence every time my son or I took a shower the water ran out on the floor surrounding the toilet and almost everything in the shower area.

Proximity to stadium Room smelled of car urine. Bed was rock hard and ac unit was extremely loud! Both ice machines were out of order and they charged us an additional $40 to check in an hour and a half before the 3:00 check in time.

Although the property was "updated", it was noticeably older and a few things (rusted tub in our room) were not replaced.

Great for a quick stop for sleep!

Quiet and great room

Overall, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. Location was okay as well. The biggest concern which is now the 2nd time staying Quality Inn in Gainesville with the same experience is the smell of mold and humidity in the room. The AC unit pumps this smell all night and this is now the second time that we get stick from staying at a Quality Inn in Gainesville because of this awful smell and air quality.

The room was clean but had a musty smell. The light switch by the door did not work on any lights. Someone tore the fire alarm off the wall and it was never replaced. The floor in the bathroom had a big dent. It had a good location near my sons apartment.

Everything was pretty nice although the shower curtain and shower combo was a little strange. Some of the buttons on the tv remote didn't work at times. All in all it was a nice stay at a good price.

Overall a great stay for the price. Comparing to other similar places, breakfast could improve. 10 mins before checking out, housekeeping came knocking on the door. Felt rushed out.
