The AC did not worked properly

Unfortunately, the rest of my stay did not meet expectations. As soon as I entered the elevator, I noticed a musty odor that continued onto the fourth-floor hallway, giving the impression that the area needed better ventilation or maintenance. When I entered my room, I found there was no shower curtain installed. I had to return to the front desk to get one and installed it myself. When I showered, I discovered the tub would not drain. With my plumbing background from the military, I removed a large wad of hair and several Band-Aids from the drain. I also took a picture of the debris because I was surprised by the amount of material causing the clog. Even after clearing it, the drain was still restricted and drained very slowly, indicating it still needs repair. The room was also uncomfortably warm throughout the night. The air conditioner did not cool the room effectively, likely because the bed blocked much of the airflow. I ended up sleeping on top of the covers and did not get a good night’s sleep. I also noticed broken and deteriorating grout in the bathroom. Considering the cost of the room, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. While the staff was courteous, the condition of the hotel and the maintenance issues made this stay disappointing.

Staff was friendly. Check in was easy.

Hotel was good, but A/C was not working well in room and didn’t realize it until about 10:30 pm so I tried to diagnose it so we didn’t have to change rooms. We set it on 64 and it was about 71-72 in the room. I did tell staff when we left.

It was okay. Not the greatest

When we arrived their computer system was all messed up. It made it very difficult since we didn't have a key to the room until the next morning but otherwise things were good.

The decor was OK and it could’ve been nice. We had reserved a king room, but they gave us a double. They said their system had somehow messed up. The staff did not seem concerned about our inconvenience. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging over the shower rail. The drains were extremely slow and I was standing in 2 inches of dirty water by the end of my shower. (The water took about 20 minutes to drain out.) This was a problem because I was going in for surgery and had specifically booked a room at the Fairfield Inn because I believed I would be able to get a sanitary shower the evening and the morning before my surgery. Standing in dirty water was not what I expected. The toilet paper holders did not work so that the toilet paper would not stay on them. The wake up call service was messed up and called us over an hour before the time we had requested. While the check-in staff was rather dismissive of our concern about getting the wrong kind of room, the staff when we checked out was nicer and apologized and said they would inform the manager.

I checked in online before heading to the hotel because I knew we would be arriving late at night. When we get there around 10:30 p.m., there are several people waiting in the lobby. They were waiting because they had just been told that they were overbooked and there were no more rooms. When I was told this, along with the fact that I would not be charged a cancellation fee (?), I was told to go check the hotel next door. They didn’t have anything either. I went back to the hotel and asked about the manager. She said he was on his way there to clean rooms but offered no other information. While I was waiting, at least 3 more families were turned away that had reservations. We were all there for a graduation the next day. It is simple math. Know how many reservations you have and clean the rooms. Do better.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and approachable. I would definitely stay there again if ever in that area. I left early with no time for breakfast but others seemed to enjoy it.
