We've been in quite a few Gainesville hotels with our travels. I love this one & it is by far one of my favorites. It's clean, quiet & the rooms are nice. Thank you all for giving me such a great experience!

They did not like to clean up the room.or give out towels. Only had certain days for towels???!!!!

I got there around 5:30 PM. It was about 4 AM before the room finally cooled off with the air conditioner running all night. It was like 75° in the room on top of that the blankets on the bed look like they had been reused without being washed. There was crusty food stuff on them, and I killed multiple German cockroaches in my room throughout the night.

The location was convenient for our trip, and the housekeeping staff was polite and helpful. One housekeeper even helped us open our room door after noticing how difficult it was because of the faulty lock. 1. My request before arrival was completely ignored Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to ask if it would be possible to have a room on the first floor, since I was traveling with a young child and an elderly family member. The hotel never responded to my message, showing a complete lack of attention and consideration for its guests. 2. No luggage cart available When I arrived, I discovered that the hotel didn’t even have a luggage cart. Since my room was upstairs, I had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs while taking care of a young child. This made check-in exhausting and unnecessarily difficult. 3. Faulty room door Opening the room door was a daily struggle. The key card had to be swiped several times very quickly, the handle had to be lifted upward, and the door had to be pushed with considerable force, almost as if you were trying to break it open. The problem was so obvious that a housekeeper noticed my difficulty and came over to help me by repeating the same complicated process. This happened multiple times throughout our stay and was extremely frustrating. 4. Broken toilet seat The toilet seat was broken, so you had to sit down very carefully to avoid it shifting or causing an accident. This was another clear sign of the hotel’s poor maintenance. 5. Strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana As soon as we entered the room, there was a strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana. At first, I assumed lowering the air conditioning temperature would help eliminate the odor, but it didn’t. Throughout our stay, the smell remained because people were smoking in the hallways, allowing the odor to enter our room. It was extremely unpleasant. 6. Constant feeling of insecurity The next morning, I noticed that the entire first floor appeared to be occupied by people who seemed to be staying there long-term rather than regular hotel guests.

Clean room, great staff. When I decided to extend my stay and couldn't stay in the room I was in originally, they were extremely helpful and kind.

The toilet and washcloths had hairs on them (from different people), the air conditioner struggled the entire stay, the milk was sour tasting at breakfast, and breakfast was minimalistic and not appetizing.
-
The bedding was horrible. Pillows and pillow cases were dirty. The bed spread had holes in them.

Don't expect anything fancy. I chose this location due to it's proximity to NE GA Medical Center and the price. It was more than sufficient for a one-night stay. Room was clean, good hot water in the shower, cool A/C. Bed was comfy enough. It was a little noisy in the morning. The front desk staff both at night and at check-out were super nice. They do take a $50 deposit on top of your room rate that is supposed to be refunded.. it has been 5 business days and I have yet to receive that refund. I will be contacted the hotel directly to check on that.

The staff were friendly and kind It didn't feel safe. Much older run down facility than the pictures show. I expected much nicer for the price. There was literally balled up toilet paper on the wall of the bathroom. They provided 2 towels. Breakfast was only make your own waffles and in the same room they fold their laundry. I would have expected MUCH cleaner and nicer rooms. The smell of marijuana was strong in the room. I left the vent open and the door cracked to air it out before carrying our items in.
