Comfort Inn & Suites Galveston Central Island near Pier

Estuvo todo excelente

Shocked by the state of this hotel. Very run down. Our room was not clean at all hair everywhere. The bathroom had a hole in the wall that was stuffed with toilet paper, the shower curtain was ripped and hardly staying on, the tub was so slippery with no grip mat making it hard to shower. When we arrive the front desk lady was very short with us, in our room we found 1 towel and a roll of toilet paper 3/4 empty; when we called down for more we were notified we had to go down to get them ourselves. Poor service, poor quality.

Great location, staff was courteous and friendly, housekeeping let's just say they definitely needed to take a little more time cleaning and not just change the sheets. There was no place to hang towels, balcony had a great view but was was over the dumpster area. Hotel definitely needs a little attention from maintenance.

Older property smelled a little moldy but looked a maintained. Bed frames need to be up dated

Wonderful stay close to beach we had a balcony view of beach as well. Staff was great and answered our questions. The room was amazing king bed and sofa bed with two TV felt like a mini apt loved it will stay again and the breakfast was great many options given.

ROOM WAS CLEAN AND BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. I DO THINK THE NO-SMOKING POLICY WENT TOO FAR NOT ALLOWING ME TO SMOKE ON MY BALCONY AND NOT HAVING A DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA.

Other than that was a convenient place to catch the ferry from. Staff was helpful on getting us to there hotel.

Booked it last minute when we were in town and was super excited to get a room with a private balcony and a view… Staff was very nice. Breakfast was hot included, eggs, sausage, waffles, and all stuff like that with coffee so yeah, great trip.

I was ok, good for one night. they told us after we got there that there was not a shuttle that weekend to the cruise terminal. Would have been nice to know before hand when they advertise that they have one.

Room is filthy. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Mold in the tub grout. Light switch doesn’t turn anything on. Trash and nastiness all under the desk area. 1 soda machine out of the three worked. It’s just overall not taken care of. Carpet in the hallways appears to newer. Rooms are awful. Sheets are pilling. Just not a comfortable place overall.

Very clean room, excellent staff an location!

Place was just disgusting

My door key won’t work ..

Room was ok, the AC worked great. The pool was extremely cold, there was 2 broken windows and the ceiling was falling apart. There was trash everywhere outside. The ice machine on the 1st floor was leaking so the staff just left towels on the ground for 2 days. My room towels were not changed after each day.

Great stay, nice customer service. Would stay here again.

The comfort inn and suites is an amazing hotel. Very comfortable directly across from the beach. Great location staff friendly and professional I discovered that if you are going on a cruise from Galveston- this hotel offers parking fee of $10 a day and a shuttle to and from the cruise port. Next time I am going on a cruise from Galveston port stating here and using the parking and shuttle- you will need to make your reservation directly to the hotel.

I received a nice room on the 5th floor. The room was nice however it desperately needs maintenance. Open outlets, broken bathroom fixtures. Nice indoor pool.

Clean room with a great view. Parking included and walking distance to restaurants and the pier.

Good

Needs to renovated. Rooms smell moldy
