Seabreeze Hotel, An Ascend Collection Hotel

The cooler in my room was super loud and kept me ans my wife up all night.

It was good, no doubt for the money. It was great

Parking is awful , pool is extremely small

Good location close to the beach

A great location…close to the beach. It is also close to the trolley line which can take you Historical District for $1

Room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast and coffee was good and convenient. Only thing is, the hotel smells weird.

The location to the beach and pier were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle offered by the hotel to the port for our cruise was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again for our next trip to Galveston.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was hot and delicious. It’s a small walk to the beach and pleasure pier. Definitely would stay again.

Clean rooms

Room and building were clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great and proximity to the ports is excellent. We loved that the pier and restaurants are within easy walking distance. That being said the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance when we arrived, which was not communicated to us until we attempted to use the facilities. Not a big deal, but would've been nice if that had been communicated in advance via email or at check in

Very clean and Ezra was very kind at check in. Really my only issue was very low water pressure In my room. Hopefully it was just in mine. Location is great!

The hotel was fine. The staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was mediocre but it got the job done. The room was fairly clean with no mold and the hotel was built in 2024 so no major issues. Only complaint was we found a broken glass tobacco pipe in one of the drawers of our non-smoking room so it called into question how thorough they actually cleaned the rooms.

We stayed for one night before a cruise and it was great. The property is clean and well kept. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. The only thing was the parking was a little tight getting in and out of the lot, but we managed. It was a block from the sea wall so we took a walk after breakfast. It’s also a straight shot from the hotel to the port. I would definitely stay here again if we cruise out of Galveston again or just visit Galveston in general.

Huge complaint about this property is the smell of either mildew and or mold as soon as you walk through the doors, it carries over into the elevators and into your room.

Great place short walk to the beach very convenient!!!

This is a great location and the rooms are very quiet and comfortable. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars all around is the parking situation. They sell their small parking area to those going on a cruise and you are told you can park on the street. Of course they did not say it rudely. I’m not sure why the cruisers don’t have to park in the dimly lit street and current guests don’t get the lit parking lot. Otherwise this is a terrific hotel near the beach.

No frills hotel just a comfortable quiet clean room with a small fridge and a microwave. Easy access to several good restaurants and Murdock. Will stay here again.

Staff were fantastic. Warm, friendly, communicative & smiling every time I interacted with them.
