The room was great. Perfectly located to the beach and for the fireworks show. Breakfast was amazing.

Staff not friendly, not accommodating, first night here my Truck was vandalized, apparently there had been others done in previous few months, we received no warning, there was no security in parking garage. The hotel staff showed no concern for what happened nor offered any assistance. Our 5th and last night there there elevator broke down. You found out by trying to go downstairs and it had a sign stating broke down. We were on 6th and top floor and we're set to check out the next day. There was no communication, no offer of assistance, no concern or help. My wife and I had to make trip after trip up and down 6 flight of stairs. We are both over 60, and she has a critical illness. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Terrible, no elevators in a six story building, no a/c in hallways, damp, musty smelling and not a pleasure to be there.

I request that they staff in housekeeping check the plugs in the bathroom because they’re not rising, which means the faucet overflows aside from that everything was perfect

Would have been an okay sayy except the elevators didn't work at all. 4 flights of stairs after walking on the beach and visiting around town is not my idea of a great stay. Anyone knows on vacation you are in and out of the hotel all day. We were not offered any discounts except we didn't pay for parking. The lady told us she wouldn't charge us parking but don't tell anyone else. Well, she lied because the parking garage gate was up the whole time and even customers at local restaurants and bars nearby parked for free. You shouldn't have to pay for parking if it's hotel parking anyway. I tried to talk to a person at Hotels.com when I got the email about the elevators to see if I could get a refund or they could get us in somewhere else nearby, but only automated system that didn't help at all. I will use a different booking agent or go directly through the hotel next time.

The location of this hotel is good right by the beach with a restaurant next door. The parking is off site at a parking garage across the street. The elevators were not working when we stayed there so we had to hike luggage and ourselves up and down flights of stairs to do anything. It was June and hot. The stairs are not air conditioned and there is trash in them. We left after the 2nd night and the trash was still there that morning so 3 days. Hiking the stairs up and down looked really challenging for some folks who had to stop and catch their breath between flights. The room did have working air conditioning. On the bright side I got in a lot of extra steps and the trip was much more of a workout than I anticipated. There is not air conditioning in the hallways either to the rooms just big fans. We’ve stayed at many holiday inns before and never experienced anything like this. Would not recommend unless you want to add a physical challenge phase to your trip. My calves feel great.

Close to beach Elevators were not working

Location The elevator was out of order and the parking we had to pay for $15 a day.

When we entered our room, we were immediately hit with a strong mold and mildew odor. There were several large industrial fans running throughout the hallways, leading us to believe the property may have experienced flooding or water damage. The front desk initially sent someone to spray the vents, but instead of fixing the issue, the room simply smelled like peaches mixed with mold and mildew. Later, the night manager came to our room, agreed the odor was unacceptable, and offered us reward points or the option to move to another room, which would have required hauling all of our belongings up and down even more stairs because the elevators still weren’t working. Neither option addressed the actual problem. The hotel should never have continued accepting reservations while these conditions existed. Guests should have been notified in advance or relocated to another beachfront property. Based on the strong mold and mildew odor throughout our stay, I genuinely believe the property should be inspected by the local health department. We will not be staying here again, and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to others.

A/C was hit or miss throughout the hotel, but coffee amenity in lobby was nice

Neither elevator worked, causing great distress to older guests on high floors. Room keys failed every day. Staff were clueless.

Location Staff is rude and disrespectful, the fact that they didn’t mention a parking fee until I drove 15 hours to this hotel. Broken elevators and no discount for even one night. With what this room cost me parking should be included.

The Location WAS GOOD and the beautiful Danny (lady) that was over breakfast the first morning of our stay WAS PHENOMENAL. One elevator was broke when we checked in in a Wednesday and by Friday at their busiest time the other elevator broke and we had to carry our luggage if 3 people down from the 5th floor, I understand these things happen but the other elevator should have been fixed (this is a busy season ) first day breakfast was great , rest if the time there was very little to choose and not being replenished as told….. the hallway and elevator A/C was out the whole stay with the temp being 87-88 degrees, management needs to do better and for what they charged and what they offered on their site is not what happened, my daughter has Cerebral PALSY IN HER LEGS and not having either elevator working at all times was a huge problem. The shower had mildew in it around the bottom. Will not stay there again I am requesting a refund. Was not as described AT ALL!!!!

Great location One of the beds in our room was broke and sunk down in the middle.

When we checked in only 1 elevator was working. Within an hour the other elevator was out of order. We were on the 6th floor, so shlepped bags and kid up and down 6 flights of stairs. A paraplegic man on the 3rd floor had to have EMS come get him down the stairs as well as his electric wheelchair.
