Nothing at all They gave my room to someone else. They allowed that person to use MY credit card for the $100 deposit and $17 parking fee. When I tried to check in, they said I was already checked in. I had to give my booking number and they realized they checked in a Middle Eastern man into my, a white woman, room. They supposedly checked his ID when he checked in. He told them to charge everything to the card on file, which was MY card, so I got all his charges PLUS my own. Not once did the hotel staff offer an apology. I was told they would waive my $17 parking fee, but I was charged for mine plus the Middle Eastern man that checked into MY room. I spoke with 5 different people and nothing was resolved. In the end, I prepaid for the room 5 weeks prior to checking in and was charged AGAIN for the room at checkout. I was also told the deposits would "fall off" but they never did. So, I paid for my room 5 weeks prior, paid again after staying, paid for the Middle Eastern's room deposit and parking and my room deposit and deposit. The room deposit and parking was more than I originally paid for the room. So, I paid 4 rooms total for one night's stay. On top of that, they had all my information, my address, phone number, credit card info, under his room and also under my room. Oh - management, Jacob, told me I have to take my issues us with Booking.com since that is how I booked the room and they could not help with any refunds. On top of a room that smelled musty and like mildew and had a fridge that housed rotting seafood for over a year!!!! NEVER STAY HERE. I warned you. Run.....RUN FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!

All staff were friendly and helpful; my room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was delicious with various options. I loved the easy walking access to the beach and local restaurants.

The staff was AMAZING from beginning to end! Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You could really tell they cared about making their guests feel comfortable and taken care of, and that meant a lot to us. ❤️ Our room was comfortable, the hotel was nice, and having breakfast available in the mornings was definitely a plus. We enjoyed our time in Galveston, and coming back to a welcoming place made the trip even better. Thank you to the entire staff for your kindness and hospitality. Y’all truly made us feel welcome! We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ God bless each of you, and thank you for helping make our little getaway so memorable! ❤️🌴

The Staff was great. The coffee was awesome! Very clean. Didn't care much for the parking situation.

Parking is bs. Pay 15 bucks and you got to walk across street and carry luggage downstairs. No elevator on parking garage . Got beach view with balcony . Thinking we would face beach but we saw partial beach and a nice homeless camp field! Slamming spring loaded doors not cool. Comfortable beds . Great breakfast though . Staff nice

I was over charged when checking in and also not placed in the room I had booked and was told their was no price reduce nor the room I booked available. The next day I seen an extra $200 charge on top of my normally quoted payment. I went to the front desk and this nice manager helped me and upgraded my room. Overall it was a good stay but I just wish this didn’t happened since it put me out $300 for my trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Galveston! The view from our room was gorgeous, and having a private balcony made it even more special. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options. The entire hotel was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and we will definitely be back!

Hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. Staff was exceptional! The room was spacious and comfortable.

Location to the beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a safe place to park. Ice machine on my floor was out of service. There were huge fans at each end of the hallway, and it wasn’t a pleasant smell.
