Aloft by Marriott Richmond West Short Pump

Very clean, calm, and convenient location. I stay here whenever I am working in RVA. Easy freeway on and off. Near shopping, dining, movies, and music venues.

They moved me to another room that had a very loud air conditionair and a broken thermostat. I left the next morning although I had booked a four night stay.

Noise level in lobby was bad

The hotel was extremely hot. Thank goodness our room was cooler than the hallway. It still didn't cool off completely even after putting the air on 66. But it was tolerable. Not sure if it was just our shower but water got all over the floor as soon as the shower was turned on. I had to use all the towels to clean it up. We only stayed for 1 night. It wasn't a terrible experience but I don't think we would stay again. I do think the hotel is in a very pretty area.

There is no USB charger in the room, the shower was taken out of the manual on the floor and the reception staff was not attentive and did not provide information on hotel services.

The room was left unlocked by the maid staff. Fortunately, nothing was taken from our room.

Location Always working on AC

The room did not have a working phone. Shower floor wasn't clean. Housekeeper came at 11:04 to ask if I was still checking out. I showed her the sign posted on the back of the door, which stated check out was at noon. She said okay, and left. Overall stay was okay.

We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful decor, and cleanliness. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice location and room was great.

We love staying here as you can walk to dinner with lots of options and shopping is a short drive. Manager was very accommodating. We will be back!

Really easy to get in and out, parking everywhere! Quiet and clean. Great date night get away with the MRS.!

Never came to clean my room. Only had 2 towels for 2 ppl over 2 nights. The phone did not work to call down for more towels. Had to go downstairs and ask for an iron since they are not in the room.

Nice clean hotel

Everything was clean and just as I expected.

Location was perfect but the lobby had no air. The 1st room was full of ants, the 2nd room they moved us to was sticky and filthy. We changed 3 rooms in 1 day. I’ll never go back!

Very nice place to stay walking distance from quite a few food venues to just shopping. Nice room spacious clean.
