Hyatt Place Glendale / Los Angeles

I travel twice every week so so cal. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff was so polite helpful with my handicapped husband making sure we had all the accommodations we needed when we got to our room they called and checked up on us which I thought was very thoughtful. The room was excellent and very quiet. I love the bathrooms. They’re very well insulated you don’t hear what’s going on in the other rooms while you are in the bathroom if you get my point, yes I will make sure I start staying there more often

Beds and pillow are very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was really good but they don't have parking. You can only get valet or pay for public parking

The location was nice. The hotel was presentable and included breakfast. Our room was hot and not cooling. The mini fridge available was not in working condition. It was already set to its lowest temperature and it kept our drinks at room temperature, spoiling our baby’s milk. We decided to cut our stay short when we realized the temperature in our room was rising instead of going down. when we were leaving, it was fresher outside than what it was inside the hotel.

clean and efficient room and property. helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Plenty of restaurant's, shopping within walking distance. I would stay again without a doubt. valet parking was tight with long waits, garage parking was available down the alley very close.

Very close to the very large Galleria. The daily breakfast buffet was a great addition. Farther away from Dodger Stadium.

On the first night we requested fans, and the engineer was suppose to come check our room, never showed up. The fans finally came around 10 pm, and we slept with extremely loud fans. The next morning, I spoke with the front desk, they were going to have someone check the air, and message us as we were on our way to Universal Studios for the day. I get a call around 12 pm, 4 hours into our day, stating that if we could return to move our belongings to another room, per their recommendation. I explained that is impossible as we were at the theme park, instead they gave us $50 in house food voucher. I spent over $680 for two nights and with air conditioning, and we had to sleep with very loud fans. It was really bad, and yes no ones fault but it just wasn't fair, and the offer of $50 in house food voucher was a bit insulting to me. Other than that, the hot is nice, pool was a good size and everyone was friendly.

Our room was a couple doors down from the gym and there’s a treadmill against a wall that is terribly noisey when in use. Late night pounding sounds were a major bummer but the gym is open 24/7. The air conditioning system is not equipped to work well when the hotel is sold out like it was when we stayed. We requested a fan and it was stinky and dirty. The hotel staff was very kind when we addressed the concerns but they weren’t able to refund us two nights he a worth of sleep! For the price, I would not recommend staying here. It’s close to The Price is Right studio, which is why we chose the location.

We always stay at Hyatt Place Pasadena to visit family, but we needed to be in Glendale, so tried this location. It did not disappoint. It feels older than the one in Pasadena, and the view is not the same, but otherwise, quite similar. The staff member that greeted us upon our late arrival was lovely and welcoming. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was just like the Pasadena location: lots of good options, plenty of relaxed seating in a nice setting. The staff is wonderful.
