Brand Plaza Hotel

Very charming boutique hotel, cozy and in a great location

Called 3 times on way there asking where parking was and front desk person was very confusing each time so ended up paying $45 to park

Old charm hotel. Overcome the entrance, old, old carpet and that there is no elevator, just yet and the rooms are actually ok and the AC is quiet. Attendance was saying that there are renovations planned and all will be updated. Price/value ratio for the location is good.

They were patient and kind with my questions. Secondly- the room had everything I would need for a safe stay of one night. Even included a small fridge. Parking was extra and a 7 minute walk. But it was safe with late night restaurants along the way. Location is Great!

We enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. Everything was clean and they provided extra toiletries, towels, robes, etc…. Loved the deep soaking tub

Must be in pretty good health to stay here. You enter the main door and are greeted by stairs. I think there are renovations going on, not sure. Surroundings are unusual, almost “vintage” making up for all the steps; no elevators. Bed was comfortable. First night I noticed something that looked like bugs on my bed after waking up; maybe seeds? The other thing was I had to buy air freshener for the bathroom, even before I used the toilet it smelled bad. Furniture was”vintage” one drawer wouldn’t stay shut, had to call front desk for help with the TV. Guess it was my age (just turned 70). They had public parking lots for their guests, ($8/night). Nevertheless, enjoyed my stay in Glendale.

THERE WERE BUGS IN OUR BED. We left at 2 AM and told them why and they didn’t even seemed phased or to care.

Very clean room and building, staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great air conditioning, housekeeping daily and a great variety of the mini bar in the room. Yes there are stairs and no elevator but the history of the building is the reason why, when it was built there were no elevators. I was really happy with my stay here and the district, Glendale, was clean and felt very safe as a solo traveller. I would 100% stay in this hotel again and again and again. There is no dining facilities in the hotel but this is stated on the booking, plenty to eat in the neighbourhood. Cheap and fine dining so the choice is there, I also think a room safe would be a great additional touch, but there is a safe at reception if you need to store anything valuable. Very fascinating building from Mr Brand.

We had to walk up a flight of stairs to the checkin desk. The parking situation was confusing and we paid for parking we didn’t need to. The room was not as stylish as the sample photo.

Be aware this hotel will charge you for the snacks you’ve never even grabbed when you check out!! There was also a $150 deposit by card that I still haven’t gotten back. The staff only give new towels once, no extra toilet paper was given to us. The one extra toilet paper in a cabinet had a dead roach on it. The room wasn’t the cleanest. However the hotel is in a convenient area given that the mall and many restraints are nearby.

No elevators, just stairs. If you want your room clean must put the sign out or else they’ll not come.

The hotel is an old, historic building, so it had some interesting quirks. The bathroom could have been cleaner, but the gentleman checking us in was very helpful and quick. We checked in super late and left bright and early, so it was perfect for our needs.

Clean room! Nice staff!

The room was very clean and well organized. Nice furniture. Nice furnishings. Nice! People should just know that there's a steep staircase to come into the lobby and if you're not ready for that, it could be a little startling. However, the staff was great in helping me with my bags, get up the stairs and back down. I thought it was a good place to stay and I would stay here again.

I had a very nice stay at Brand Plaza Hotel in Glendale. The hotel has a charming and classic feel, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to explore nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Glendale.
