Glendale Express Hotel Los Angeles

Very outdated hotel that needs severe upgrades. Carpets are worn and dirty, rooms are vintage 60’s without any visible updating. Tub did not drain, doors are rotted and corroding. No microwave in rooms. Coffee for a few hours with fruit cups were their “breakfast” offering. Charges $10 per night for parking in their outside lot. Overall, I do not recommend and would not return.

Not the freshest updated rooms, but other than being a little aged, I have nothing but positives. Clean, friendly, safe, nice clean pool and hot tub, great price, great location. I will stay here again.

WORST PLACE TO STAY. DIRTY, STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ARE VERY RUDE!! WE WAITED IN THE LOBBY FOR OVER 30 MINUTES BECAUSE RECEPTIONISTS WAS ON A BREAK!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

It was sufficient for the price. The location was great for me.

We loved the location in Glendale - it was easy to Uber/Lyft to Santa Anita Park for horse racing, and to the BMO venue for a concert. The property is cool & funky, can totally feel the Old Hollywood vibes. It was comfy for us & doggies, loved the long room and balcony. Also, lots of parking included & in a nice neighborhood only a few blocks to world class shopping at the Galleria. If you don't need all the luxury valet & sparkles, then this is a great 3 star property. We will stay again!

Staff were helpful. They have a Laundry room on the 2nd floor, if you’re staying over a week it helps to use.

Rooms are bigger and spacious because it is an older building.

The staff replaced the refrigerator (that wasn't working) in my room fairly promptly. I paid extra for a "kitchenette", but there were no plates, cups, glasses, bowls, cutlery, dish soap, dish towels, etc. I asked for a partial refund, but did not receive one.

The room was dirty. The curtains are ripped and stained. There was mold or thick black dirt on the ceiling.. the shower tiles were broken and looked like it wasn’t cleaned! The light fixtures had rust on them.

Good location. VERY outdated rooms. I cannot stress that enough. Water damaged wallpaper, clear seams in walls from water damage. Very outdated bathrooms. Carpet was not good. Our family stayed in two different rooms on two different floors and the rooms were equally outdated. Staff was nice though and families with kids seemed to really enjoy the outdoor pool.

They shifted me to there sister property which is in Burbank the hotel Burbank and it was good exprience

The property was okay, it needs a major upgrade. The room was clean, but a bit rundown and outdated.

The room seemed clean. The carpet was questionable.

The property was better than expected. Lobby, and some floors have been completely updated. They're in the process of renovating all older rooms. The rumi stadium was a little dated, but still very clean and well maintained decor and front lobby were adorable. They had coffee, tea, and granola bars in the morning, which was very sweet of them. The hotel was quiet and it was only ten dollars a night for parking on site.
