Best Western Plus Goldsboro

Never cleaned room during 4 night stay. After 2 nights I inquired and was told I had to request it. Did so but never received any assistance. With being a handicap and a dialysis patient I thought I would be able to get things up front. I had to then go to the front desk several times for towels..

Parking and convenience to different places was the best thing about this place by far. The coffee machine was decent too as it had some good choices. Most of the staff, except that unwelcoming,rude manager, were nice and helpful. They were also very accommodating to work in such a dump, trying to move so many people around due to so many room issues. We had to change rooms at 11PM because the air in 516 did not work. The mattress topper and brown bed skirt were very dirty too. Also it smelled very old and like mildew as if the carpets were wet. Room 507 the tv never worked. It kept buffering and would not stay connected to the hotel wifi. And why are there no umbrellas at the pool area? This is definitely something that should be added as soon as possible to make the area more accommodating. Overall not a good experience and would not book there again. I did as best I could to enjoy family, as it was a family reunion, while I was there. There are so many upgrades that need to take place at this hotel because it's not fit for humans to be there and the staff need a place that they may be proud to clean and keep lively.

Customer Service was the only thing that was good It was horrible. The room had a smell, the TV didn't work so I had to switch rooms and then the toilet in the new room didn't work

They need to take care of landscaping. Could not see the pool because of overgrown hedges. Overgrown shrubbery all over of the property makes a great place looks shady.

The check in was very quick and easy. My room was on the 4th floor. The hallway was hot & smelled bad. My room was a double queen & was clean. Bathroom could use an update. There was no blow dryer in my room. I went downstairs to get coffee & asked for one. The front desk said it should be in the closet tucked under the iron. I went back upstairs to check again as i searched the entire room. There wasn’t one tucked under the iron. Went back down & the front desk went to a vacant room and got one. I didn’t try any breakfast so I can’t say anything about it.

The breakfast and staff were great. The elevators weren’t working properly so I had to take the stairs quite a bit but I need the exercise. I had an ex girlfriend show up at the hotel when she saw my truck, and one of the staff members told her what room I was in, so she could harass me. That was not ok in my book. However, when I called the front desk to ask someone what to do, the gentleman working at that time said he’d ask her to leave, and he did. So it was resolved.

Never again. Most ghetto place i have ever stayed. Reals of Marijuana everywhere. People loud throughout . Staff loud and ghetto.. breakfast horrible.

Nothing and will never use again! You changed me for full stay,,, when I canceled reservations. I get but this. Uncalled for in this day and age. This how you do business??? And yes stayed there many times in past years and to get done wrong,, like this. Never agin will I stay or promote your establishment. I’ll go to Super 8, least they don’t ripe of patrons like this. Totally uncalled for !!!
