While the front desk and staff are extremely helpful the manager needs some training or find another position that does not require contact with people. The main A/C was not working so guests had to rely on the older window/radiator units. My refrigerator did not work and by the time it was fixed my dairy had to be thrown out. The managers response was that I could check-out.

Arrived to check in to long lines. Apparently the hotel's guest HVAC wasnt working and they were relocating people to the Best Western next door. Well, most people. I booked through Expedia and was told by the front desk agent that someone called the hotel to cancel my reservation at 1:07 pm. No confirmation of who made the call. Now, what that young lady doesnt know is that I've worked in hotels for 10 years. No one can cancel a 3rd party hotel reservation directly with the hotel. I think this was their attempt to reduce the number of reservations they were moving. I wonder how many other guests who booked through 3rd party reservations were left stranded that night!? Fortunately, the manager at the Best Western was kind enough to work things out with the Hampton Inn to get me a room. However, even that hotel was not without issue. No hot water the day of checkout! Just a roller coaster of issues staying in this area. A friend of mine stayed at TownePlace just across the highway (0.5 miles) and had no issues!

When we first arrived they did not have a room for us. After about a 10 minutes I was told go and get my family and belongings and was escorted to a room and let in with no key or anything didn’t sign any paperwork or anything. My daughter had to finish her homeschool work on her computer and when I went to connect to WiFi it said I wasn’t a registered guest I felt as if some thing shady was going on so my family and packed up our stuff and found somewhere else to go.

Great hotel. Good breakfast. Great Staff. Beds were pretty good.

Numerous issues. The water in the shower couldn't get hot, it was luke warm at best. The tap in the bathroom also had barely any water pressure, maybe a pencil thin stream, that also wasn't hot. On top of that, despite being in a non-smoking section, everyday coming back to the room, the entire floor would smell like cigarettes. The lights in the room were all different colors
