We didn’t see any staff at the front everything was handled virtually, seemed odd and uninviting The room smelled very clear but was very outdated. It was small and hot, the ac only went to 66 which is very odd.

Room was clean and well maintained, although I have never seen two beds crammed into such a small space. It was difficult to access luggage and move about the room. Closet inside the bathroom was also poor design. Check in was horrible. On-line check-in representative had strong accent and audio was bad, so it was hard to understand. Worst yet, the in-person attendant spoke over the kiosk and accused me of being rude when I pointed out that the two reps were talking at the the same time. Worst client service experience I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. The in-person rep should be replaced. She is rude and incompetent.

the location was good for getting to the airport on my way home. otherwise, it's kind of a commercial district with strip malls, not attractive. my bedding had bugs on it and was dirty. I discovered the bugs only after coming home late, showering and getting into bed. I ended up having to kill some bugs myself and gather up the bedspread and put it in the bathtub to contain. I then had to inspect the sheets, which seemed clear of bugs. in the morning, I alerted front desk staff, who was smoking outside. He took my video of the bugs and alerted management. I was asked to move rooms quickly and this made me miss breakfast with my daughter in Santa Barbara. It was a big hassle to repack all my belongings, carry everything to the new room, and then unpack and set up in a new room. Management did not reach out to me to apologize, or comp the room, or offer a discount.

I liked tge location. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part There was mold at the bottom of the bathroom doors. Would love a blow dryer option. Room was really small.

the location was honestly the best thing about it; close to stores, gas stations, restaurants and about 10mins from the Santa Barbara pier The room had an odd musky smell and was very stuffy. The air wasn't working properly and there was water on floor of the bathroom but couldn't figure out where it came from. There were a couple spiders in the room including one in the bed which ended up biting one of us. Lastly we were awakened by the smell of weed from another guest smoking in front of our room at 8am

The floors were very dirty. The vents to the ac were filthy as well. Not the best mattresses but comfy enough for a night.

Regrettably the only thing nice was the area where the hotel is at is very nice and clean. No parking we had to park somewhere else risking our vehicle getting towed. The room was too small for both queen beds. The bathroom was dirty and they had no staff to clean it. We requested them to clean it the next day and get new towels nothing was done due to short staff.

The lady at the front desk was visibly overwhelmed but still very kind to my kids and I. The AC hardly even worked, the double queen room is so incredibly tiny you can hardly even walk around the beds, the bathtub clearly needs regulazing but instead was sanded down exposing the structural foam and making it unsafe to bathe.

The room was a bit dingy and not well-insulated (we could hear a lot going on outside).

This accommodation is simply an affordable option compared to others in Santa Barbara. If you need a place to sleep briefly, it's okay. However, don’t expect it to be a great place. Also, I wouldn’t recommend coming with your family, especially young kids.
