The Leta Santa Barbara Goleta, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is a renovated Holiday Inn, and while the courtyard and pool are wonderful, given the room rates, I expect more luxury in my room from a Hilton property. The bathroom has the original tub and a tile surround with rather dingy grout, in some spots it was quite black. Also, the safety grab bar is at the wrong end of the step in tub so you're stepping in right under the shower head. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were very nice. The AC unit was very noisy and clearly old. There is no elevator to the second floor, which I was told before they gave me a room. On Saturday the brunch buffet was relocated to a small, unpleasant bar area with no windows because there was a seminar event taking place that took up the entire lobby and closed the bar and restaurant to guests. Trying to get a cup of coffee at the lobby coffee station took a half hour because the seminar people had drained the pot and there seemed to be some issue with getting a fresh pot. Guests were definitely not put first. This event seemed to still be going on that evening and it was rather annoying to not have access to the restaurant or bar. The staff was friendly and did their best to be accommodating under circumstances where their guests were being inconvenience. The location is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Overall it is ok but definitely a bit of a disappointment.

Perfect stay for UCSB move in weekend!

So sweet

We lived eating poolside in the restaurant, full menu, great choices and ingredients. The was modern and comfortable, nice bedding, lovely bath products, thick towels, easy parking, close to ucsb.

There were bikes to ride around town and the pool was great! Rooms were dated and needed a refresh, paint cracked, tile grout moldy, bed was very soft/bouncy.

Nice affordable clean location for our recent stay to attend a Santa Barbara wedding. The staff was always very helpful with onsite 24 hour access. We would definitely stay here again!

The Leta was absolutely splendid. The room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. We sat at the Bar for hours. We enjoyed fantastic craft cocktails, savory appetizers and enjoyed a live performance from a talented singer songwriter. The ambience was perfect - we sat outside under twinkle lights near the beautiful sparkling pool. Can't wait to return.

Clean rooms and convenient by 101 freeway

The room could have been cleaner. The plumbing smelled (the sink smelled like sulfur). It’s cutely decorated, and it’s vibey.

Room did not match the price. The motel feel is not what I was expecting: one of those old-fashioned motel air conditioners under the front window, was very unreliable on maintaining the temperature. There was only one (instead of two) chairs for the small round table, the lower bed sheet was so short it didn't cover the foot of the bed. The sink was cracked.
