Baymont by Wyndham Grand Forks

Everything was great excepts getting a random 29$ charge on my credit card after leaving.

Once we saw this we contacted Expedia to explain the situation and cancel our reservation but they were of no assistance and said we had to work it out with the Baymont directly and we would be charged a cancelation fee. After a discussion with the front desk we agreed to stay and be charged for one night and would not be charged for the remaining 6 nights. 6 days later we were charged for the entire 7 nights plus the original charge for the one night. Expedia and the hotel never communicated with each other regarding the issues. We are currently working with Baymont to reverse the charges. Needless to say I will never use Expedia to book another trip and I am cancelling my Whindam account. My recommendation...make your reservation directly with the property and cut.out Expedia.

Clean, convenient location Renovations in progress, thought we were in a construction zone when entering. No noise or dirt, just cluttered

This was just a quick stay while passing through, all of our needs we met.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Nothing dusted, floor was dirty, sheets seemed dirty, and my daughter’s bed had a huge visible dark stain on it, it freaked us out. Bed skirts had mysterious white stain. Property was quiet and parking was nice. Location was convenient.

New beds

When we arrived the Baymont was undergoing renovations so there was alot of boxes and furniture all over the place including up on our floor which made it a little difficult to get by at times ... a heads up would have been good but otherwise it was good

The front desk was unmanned, and when we called to alert them we were ready to check in, it took 15 minutes for someone to come down. Our room has no thermostat, and the hallway outside our room is packed with boxes. By the way, our room was NOT one of the rooms that had been upgraded (see red circled damage on furniture). Surprisingly enough, we received an email from the property the day before our stay, and NOWHERE did it mention the situation we found on our arrival. Not a great way to start a stay, especially since we are here to inter my father-in-law's remains...

Only issue I had was out of the 2 key cards one worked other than that it was an amazing experience

The hotel was under renovation and we were not made aware at the time of the booking. Work was done during daytime so it was quiet at night but a MESS! TVs didn’t work in our rooms because they were not connected properly. Breakfast was good tho

Great location, breakfast good The only thing was, they did not see to our room with coffee packets, replenish towels, soaps. We were told by front desk, they don't do the rooms anymore. We were there for 5 or 6 days. That is not good.

Breakfast staff (one individual) was very friendly and fun to talk to.

My room was not cleaned. It looked like it needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. Beds were made, another guests necklace was in the bathroom.
