Our first room, the Cars-themed room, unfortunately wasn’t in the best condition. The bunk room door was broken, the queen bed was extremely squeaky, and the air unit was quite loud. We mentioned the issues to the staff, and they were very accommodating and moved us to a Pixar-themed room, which was much better and made a big difference in our stay. The breakfast was excellent, parking was convenient and close to the hotel, and overall we appreciated how helpful the staff were in making things right. It was a great place to bring young kids — they absolutely loved the themed rooms and the kid-friendly atmosphere.

We stayed at Canad Inns Grand Forks for two nights with our two children and paid about $600 CAD. We came from Winnipeg hoping to relax and enjoy Splashers, but unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. When we found out that Splashers was not included with our Expedia booking, a female staff member at Splashers shouted at us and made us feel humiliated, instead of calmly explaining the policy. The female front-desk staff member on , the morning of August 30 was also very rude when we asked about a late check-out. We understand that late check-out may not always be available, but her attitude and the way she spoke to us were unacceptable. We expected better customer service, especially when traveling with children. Very disappointed with the staff attitude and overall experience.

There was an unexpected free hot breakfast. The family room we booked for 6 of us had a broken a/c . But because our room window faced an indoor hallway the window was sealed shut. We had no choice but to have the fan of the a/c run which was very loud and made sleeping difficult. The unit also leaked water so the carpet was wet and without a bathroom fan, the humidity in the room was out of control. The play station that was in the kids room was not working. When we brought our concerns to the front desk, they said they would put a ticket in for us to get money back. It's been a month and we can received nothing. So we paid $250 plus extra fees for the water park for a very bad experience.

Water slide was down and that was the reason we picked the hotel.

Clean spacious room. Comfortable bed Elevators could use a some updates. On one elevator there was black electrical tape holding on the panel

The rooms could use some updating and carpet change. Otherwise the rooms were clean. Our TV didn't work and kept saying bad weather but the weather was beautiful. They came and reset but didn't work. We had NO TV the whole stay. The continental breakfast was ok same as many other places. The night staff was very friendly but not so much during the day.

The room was spacious (we got upgraded to a suite) That you need a bracelet to do the big slide and that the walk from the rooms is far from swimming. We had to walk around reception in bathing suits.

THERE WAS LEFT OVER FOOD IN THE MINI FRIDGE FROM THE LAST GUESTS. WHICH WAS UN SANITARY.

Room was decent, kids loved the bunk beds. Waterpark was awesome, although we didn’t realize we had to pay extra for it. Food at the water park was terrible - would never eat there again. Complimentary breakfast wasn’t very good either. Would consider staying here again but really only for waterpark.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful especially with getting setup with the pool. Breakfast was simple and I wish there was more options. I wish there were better restaurant options like a buffet on site.
