La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grand Forks

The room was clean, staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

The room was dirty. Didn’t look like it was vacuumed, there was food in the fridge, and stains on the pillow cases. The front desk person sat on their phone the entire time. The hot tub was lukewarm and the air freshener that is used was very overwhelming.

Location was good Terrible stay, I booked a non refundable room thinking it would be okay as soon as we opened our room door we were me with a horrific chemical smell from new carpet, had to move rooms then nonstop construction noise from Reno’s and had to change rooms again did not get same type of family suite and no refund for room type change then outside our room on first floor was a bunch of guys drinking out of the back of the truck having a party including staff on golf cart. Called front desk to complain nothing happened called Wyndham who finally sent security then non stop alarms going off at 3 am in room above us wrote and asked for refund directly to Wyndham and manager of hotel was blown off by both and sent form letter by Wyndham. Booking.com said hotel had to contact them for refund they never did and manager said I had to contact booking. Will never stay at La Quinta again avoid this property at all costs.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. The only downside was the room darkening curtains sit to far out from the window allowing the early ND sun to peek in.

Clean and new beds were super comfy. Looks like they painted the rooms too. Nothing really.

We were greeted by the front desk person once in the four days we spent there. That was on the morning of the 9th of June as we were checking out. The gentleman at the desk actually spoke to us before we said anything. We were on the third floor, which was fine except the fact that we were in the mix of refurbishing. The hallways were typically filled with construction and cleaning items. The fridge in our room didn’t work and it took over 10. hours for them to get the situation resolved. The fan in the bathroom was loud enough that you could hear it running out in the hallway. Swimming pool was nice and we enjoyed that. Probably will not be our choice of hotels on our next visit to Grand Forks

Breakfast had lots of choices. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great :)

Friendly helpful staff . Clean room , comfortable bed , quiet The hot tub needs to be a bit warmer though . Breakfast was good . Basics but it was ok . We will stay there again.

I just like Hilton I’ve always been treated well we go between Home 2 Suites and Eagan, Minnesota and when I visit family up in Grand Forks, is that Grand Forks I always stay at the Hilton. Thank you so very much for being there.

Cleaning was less than adequate. Food bag and fries were under our pull out couch. Pool area wasn't cleaned the 3 days we were there. Our stay was still nice just wished it was cleaner

The hotel had a strong soapy odor throughout and it was not very clean.

The staff was very helpful

Our room had new mattresses and carpet. The bathroom was missing an over the mirror vanity light. A lot of space to move around.
