Motel 6 Green Bay, WI - Lambeau

The entire place had a pet smell. The electrical wiring was on the outside of the wall. Metal outlet boxes screwed to the wall with exposed metal conduit. No clock, no usb outlets. Desk chair had rips in it. Toilet seat had paint chipped off. Thought the chips were dirt at first.

The property smelled musty and the sheets were filthy. There were roach droppings and random bug parts in the sheets. I ended up leaving after being denied a refund and had to drive 3+ hours back home in the middle of the night. I asked the clerk about a refund after coming back from the conference I was at around 11pm. Since I checked in at 7pm, dropped my bags and went back to my conference he said I was not entitled to a refund.

The room was clean but the hotel itself stinks really bad

smelled like cat pee paint was peeling in the room no fridge no dresser no microwave looked like a plain hospital room will never stay at one of these again

There were roaches of all sizes and i was offered another room and i asked were the roaches in my room were the only ones in the hotel and if so why would you rent the room out.i was given a refund for today only cause today is when I saw the roaches not yesterday. I got a refund only if I left immediately. Nasty and the property is not kept up cleanliness or maintenance. Just enough done to be able to rent to customers

Hotel is worn down, the hallways smell like cat pee and both the mattress’ and sheets were all stained lol we were in town for 2 nights for a concert and knew what we’re signing up for though with the price we paid

The location was okay, right off the highway so when I left I didn’t have to drive through town to get away from this place. Being so close to the highway, I was about 30 ft from the highway so my single pain window couldn’t keep the noise out and I was up all night. The employee that was supposed to be at the death was gone for roughly 30 minutes while 3 people waited to be helped. It was not clean, only one of my key cards works for half of my stay then neither one worked.

At least one guest was smoking in their room. The odor was strong in the hallway. Nobody did anything about it.

Parking

I loved the staff, very friendly. I was charged 25$ from my kids having juice stains on 1 sheet. It made me very upset as I know for facts and by law sheets have to be washed with a high grade detergent and stain would have come out. I could of understood if it was kool-aid as that can be very hard to get out.

It’s an older property and needs a lot of repairs but you can tell they are doing the best they can.

It smelled so bad like cat PEE !!!!!!

As soon as we walked into the lobby we were blasted with s very strong ammonia, cat pee smell. This smell carried throughout the halls so badly it made me not want to breath. My boyfriend could smell it faintly in our room, but I couldn't. We only got one key card for our room. We opted for the jacuzzi tub and when we went to use it the water was shut off to it and screws were missing in the handles. We called to the lobby and they were going to call us back right after they called maintenance. We never got a call back, they didn't apologize or offer to make it right at all. There was a screen missing from our window, making it possible to pass all our luggage through it (first floor) and didn't have a window lock. There was a sheet on the bed in place of the comforter, no clock, and no lamps. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. If you stepped on a certain spot in the shower it was very soft. Checkout is at 11, which was fine, but housekeeping tried to come in twice (no sign to hang on the door) and management came at 10:30 to ask if we were staying another night.

Great place to stay, clean and convenient.

IT WAS OK

The person at front desk was courteous and professional. The hotel is not maintained. Outside the door were about 100 cigarette butts, open beer can with beerin it on the ground, the ice machine had grime all over the outside. The hallway smelled of stale beer. The toilet tank in the room was cracked in half. The beds were clean and the shower clean. Room could use some attention as there was a round hole drilled in the night stand. Assuming it was for something but not sure what. I'm not expecting much for the price but the overall feeling on the maintenance left me with the impression it was a dump. Also in the grass, piles of old dog poop. As a dog owner, we always pick up after our dogs. No garbage can nearby so other dog owners were just lazy.

I should have done better search or accept getting the cheapest place

1st floor access to the rooms smelled heavy of cat urine, once in the room the flooring was separated in several areas and not well secured, soft & creaky. About an hour into our stay, after separating clothing & belonging for the next morning, my girl friend screamed, being terrified of insects, ants & flys or mosquitoes are one thing but seeing what looked like a cockroach scurrying over one of the desk like dresser with no drawers, tried to catch it with toilet tissue. It disappeared between the furniture piece & the wall. From there it was on, actually captured the cockroach on video & snapped a few picks on my smartphone. It was about the size of a nickel to quarter, once again tried to capture it but crafty critter snuck behind the furniture piece that was affixed to the wall. Deciding not to have to sleep with the lights on all night or wonder what was in my bed and what might come home with me I opted to contact some other hotels in the area. I found a room at the Hilton just a parking lot away from Motel 6 they even waived the early check-in fee and allowed me to book the room online at a cheaper price kudos to them. I opted not to discuss this with an employee or management at the Motel 6, considering the condition and smell of the building. I definitely did not want to be moved to another room. I figured I’d just find more and honestly if I had confronted them about it, it would not have been a nice scene. TOTALLY DISGUSTED & CREEPED OUT, full refund no even close!

I truly didn’t like anything! Yes! Very dirty said it slept 5 but did not. When we arrived at night we thought it would be ok but nope in the am we found cockroaches, very dirty stinks but at that late we stayed never again..
