The carpet on the floors in the hall were stain. The picture for the room show carpet, no carpet. I seen two roaches. The pillows are extra small. I asked staff about the carpet and the person I spoke to was not even the manger. Manger was not on duty. When staff called the manger she didn’t answer. The side doors are hard to open

D’Shaun was professional, patient, kind, and attentive. What stood out most was that his service never felt like he was simply doing his job — he truly cared about creating a great experience. He listened, helped with a positive attitude, and made every interaction easy and enjoyable. In a world where great customer service is becoming harder to find, employees like D’Shaun deserve to be celebrated. He is exactly the type of person guests remember long after they leave, and he represents your hotel and brand in the best possible way. I hope leadership recognizes the impact D’Shaun has on your guests and the value he brings to your team. He is truly an asset, and my stay was better because of him.

Cons: The air conditioner in our room did not work very well. It was on the lowest setting, on high, and half the time the room would still be muggy (it was high 90s when we went with real feel in the 100s). We ended up buying a fan and was able to send it home with family that drove down. The room was pretty clean. The hallway carpeting was disgusting, needs a very good cleaning! We were down for a week during YMCA Nationals and the pool was shut down for most of the time. We were hoping with such a big event the pool would be running for the gymnasts to enjoy and cool off. The ice and soda machines on the 2nd floor were down the entire time we were there. Pros: We did get to enjoy the pool for two days out of the 8 we were there. The staff were wonderful. The hotel was close to the Coliseum for Nationals. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping.

Hotel is located in a great location if you like eating out at restaurant's. If you stay here and aren't from North Carolina and you like milkshakes. Definitely make a stop at the COOK OUT it's a restaurant down the main strip up the street from the Hotel. You will not be disappointed.

I called hours before check in and asked the front desk woman named Stacy. I asked her if it was ok to check in early she told me yes I asked how early she told me 11am I said ok. I get there at 1130 or so Rita was there n she said there is no early check in’s but she went ahead and checked me in early. I was a few hours from the hotel. What was I supposed to do if I couldn’t check in early? That was my whole purpose of calling . Employees need to be better trained

The staff was friendly, especially the front office. The pool was closed due to maintenance. The rooms was decent, the first room I was in smelled like dog. I call the front desk and ask to be moved to another room. Which was much better, then that room had sugsr ants, but not that bad.

The staff was great! The pool wasn’t open for 3 days of our stay. There was no microwave in our room.

Nice staff, clean room. Breakfast could use some protein and the pool should be ready before June! Thanks!

The pool was not operational. There appears to be mold in the ceilings of the hallway near the ice machine. Carpet seems old. Need more of a variety for breakfast

If you have physical disabilities, don't go here. If you expect your trash to be removed daily and more than 1 trashcan, don't go here. The air conditioner was loud & the bed was not comfortable. The breakfast and parking were good.

    N/ahorrible service and smelly

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Pool is not working and there was no notice of that, no compensation for the pool not working. breakfast was not great. Waffles were separated and there was no yogurt and no workers to be found. Rooms were recently updated or looked like it. They looked pretty new. Halls could use some updating but if they just did the rooms they might be getting to them soon.

Bed and room was comfy. The guy with the dreads and glasses at the front desk was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Pool wasn't open

The staff was great. The bathroom had a leak from the top floor and smell like pee. The breakfast had no eggs, bacon nor sausage; only cereals, bread and waffles. The pool was not in service.

    The staff was wonderful

When we arrived, the pool was not available and I did not know anything about that prior to arrival. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. When we got to our room we found that our bedding was dirty. However, the cleaning staff was very kind and they did give us a clean set. When I tried to use the phone to call the front desk it didn’t work. As we were walking around the hotel, we noticed that the cleanliness was pretty bad. The hallways and carpet were extremely stained, and there was a trail of old chocolate milk and coffee all the way down the stairs and out the back door where the trash needed to be taken out. There were trash bags sitting there outside the door and not taken to the dumpster. We were not pleased with the way the hotel looked as far as cleanliness. In fact, we actually didn’t even stay and eat the complementary breakfast because I was afraid that it would be gross based on the observations of how the hotel was kept clean.
