    Reserved a NONsmoking room. Unable to stay in the room due to strong smoke smell. Desk attendent said no rooms are really considered nonsmoking at this site and attempted to improve the issue with deodorizing spray. The main door was not functional, they said it would be fixed the next day. Did not stay and ended up getting another room at a different hotel.

    My reservation had been cancelled and I wasn’t aware of it. They said they had been overbooked. Guys at the front desk were very apologetic. It was odd that they were overbooked and cancelled my reservation but offered me a room for $240 when I had only paid $92. It was graduation weekend at ECU. My guess is they knew they could get more for the room that weekend and that’s why they cancelled reservations. I refused to pay $240 a night at this hotel. Expedia finally got them to let them book the room for the price I had originally paid. The room was just ok. Newer furniture. Bed was just ok. Not the most comfortable but not the worst. Shower was not clean. I saw several hairs left in it. I had to rinse it out before I used it. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the dispenser. Good thing I brought my own just in case. There was also no hair dryer (Which I did need), no iron (which I did need), no lamps and no USB to charge my phone or watch. I got up really early and left. I would recommend a quick overnight stay here but not an extended stay. You could tell they’ve done some painting and updates themselves. I think it’s just a very old building and needs major updates by a professional.

    The entire property was disgusting! You can get into any of the rooms because none of the keys they give you worked. The locks were shabby! They switched me to two different rooms and they both smelled like strong cigarettes!! The room’s didn’t have the least things like tissue and hand soap. They will try to charge you $0.50 for tissue and at the very end one of management accuse me of taking his cheap dirty towels that they leave for you to use.

    My reservation had been canceled and Expedia didn’t notify me. The hotel staff did try to help. It took me 2 hours to get a room. Although the room had newer furnishings there were no lamps, no remote, no hair dryer and no iron. The mattress was not very comfortable. I only had a thin blanket. The shower had hair in it. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the automatic wall dispenser. The room was fairly clean besides the shower. Towels were very thin. I would not stay here again.

    Room smelled of marijuana. Bad. There was no smoke detector in the room. There were holes in the walls not repaired. Mismatched paint. The towels were horrible. There were no lamps in the rooms. Only over head lights. No blanket in the room. Only a thin cover. I have photos to back up these statements. No cup to brush my teeth with.

    There was a stain on the bed when i first got in and the front desk was notified, not only that, i took a picture on my phone to show them the stain and requested new sheets. waited 3 hours for the sheets and no one ever came. eventually fell asleep on the chair. before check out, notified front desk again about the stain and he understood and apologized for it but nothing was done to fix it. Lastly, i still got charged for the stain even after someone was notified about it. So i guess needless to say, i will not return to this establishment.

    Absolutely nothing the service was Terrible they didnt speak English and they didnt want to refund us for the night we didn't stay Would not recommend for anyone

    My only complaint is the night desk lady who gave my boyfriend her phone number to hang out together. Kinda disrespectful but other then that very comfy!! Thank you

    Nothing Everything, the first room the heater didn't work , second room it was just a one bedroom room . I needed 2 beds in case my daughter wanted to stay . Third room the toilet didn't work , TV didn't work , and the microwave didn't work .

    The room was awful!! No blankets on the bed, the heat didn't work, the sheets and pillows were nasty and smelled awful! The bathtub had epoxy peeling up and no hot water in the shower, and a lose light hanging down inside the shower!! The floors were nasty and the smoke detector battery was dead and chirping so the guy removed it all together instead of replacing it. When asked about another room he was going to move us to a room that they were painting and using epoxy in and had very strong fumes of each in it and wanted us to keep our kids in there!!! When we asked for blankets and clean pillow cases it took 45 minutes to bring 2 thin blankets that were no thicker than the sheets and the so called clean pillow cases were nastier and smelled worse than curry and dog turds combined after being packed away for months!!! I would never recommend this place to even a homeless person that was desperate for a place to get out of the cold!!! We had to go to the walmart down the street and spend $130 on blankets and pillows and cases to be able to stay warm and sleep at night!!!
