Oceano Hotel and Spa

Great town to visit. Friendly staff, easy parking and check in. Loved the room and comfortable bed

We had a short stay but the location was good, the staff were helpful and the room was clean.

The fireplace in our room and the generous balcony were spectacular. The fireplace in the lobby was inviting and a perfect place to end our day We will be back. Steven in the bar brought us an ice bucket for the wine we brought from our room. He is the epitome of great customer service.

Room was clean and good bed, but weird layout. Also sound funneled into the room due to the shape of the building. Nice view but not as relaxing due to busy road in front of property.

Onsite underground parking was very convenient and clean. Our very spacious room (a Deluxe Suite) was S-P-O-T-L-E-S-S when we checked in with a nice balcony, and sitting area with fireplace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a selection of great nearby restaurants and shopping, plus lots more in the town of Half Moon Bay about 15 minutes down the road. The only complaints I had were very minor - the water pressure in the shower was a tiny bit low and the shower lighting was a little dim. Neither of them were overly bothersome, nor worth deducting any points. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Two other things to consider which weren't important to us but might be to others: 1) The hotel does front onto a somewhat busy street. It does get considerably quieter at night, and there are rooms situated further away from the road. 2) It's not on the beach.

As always, another amazing stay at Oceano. We stayed at a Villa and the second floor was really stuffy even with AC on and fan on.

We would definitely stay at the Oceano again. The location is perfect: walking distance to good restaurants, the harbor, and an awesome bicycle/walking trail that goes for a few miles along the coast. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great balcony overlooking the bay. The restaurant/grill had a nice menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a great selection of drinks. We could not take advantage of the underground parking garage because of the size of our vehicle, but had complimentary parking in their outside lot next to the lobby.

The dormer window on the 3rd floor lets in light 24 hoarser day. They do provide packaged eye masks if you are light sensitive while sleeping.

Staff was great

I stayed for 2 days. My room was clean and well maintained. The room was a little dark with only the rear sliding door for light. Also the room key continually became demagnetized so there were many trips to the front desk. Parking was great and free! over all a great stay.

I love this place but feel for the price they could provide a breakfast. We usually stay at the Cypress Inn as they are just as expensive but give you a gourmet breakfast and a large charcuterie and wine in the evening. Much better value.
