Beachwalk Resort

While the resort's location and the views of the harbor and city were impressive, they were the only positive elements of our stay. Unfortunately, the quality of service, accommodations, and overall guest experience fell well below expectations. My experience at this property was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. One of the most frustrating aspects was the number of unexpected fees. As a South Florida resident, being charged a resort fee felt unreasonable, especially given the overall quality of the experience. The building has approximately 30 floors but only two elevators, which created significant delays throughout our stay. During peak times, particularly checkout hours, waiting for an elevator became a major inconvenience. Upon arrival, we encountered another issue when the room assigned to us was already occupied. When we contacted the front desk for assistance, we were placed on an extended hold, which was both frustrating and highly unprofessional. Additionally, the sofa advertised as a sofa bed on the booking website was not actually a sofa bed, resulting in inaccurate accommodations compared to what was promised. The room itself was underwhelming. The bed was unusually low, and only two bath towels were provided. We were surprised to learn that additional towels would incur an extra charge. For a property that markets itself as a resort, this level of service was disappointing. As someone who travels frequently and has stayed in numerous hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals, I can honestly say this was one of the poorest lodging experiences I have had. The only positive aspect of the stay was the location. Unfortunately, everything else failed to meet our expectations and did not reflect what was advertised. Future guests should also be aware of the substantial $250 security deposit hold required for a two-night stay, which is considerably higher than what many comparable hotels and resorts charge. Overall, I would not stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to family, friends, or other travelers. The view from the balcony was the only thing that was likeable. I wasn’t informed on all the fees and what not I had to pay until I got there. I was never notified not one time about the MANDATORY VALET PARKING! I spunt a lot of money when I thought everything was included with the total price.

I had to pay for things I did not use or want. The phone didn't even work in the room. No new towels, not as advertised.

Wonderful views Bed , mattress was not comfortable

We were there for 4 nights and no towels were provided. No garbage pick up either. We went to get garbage bags and they only have 1. And 1 toilet paper the entire stay

I love everything about the property. Amazing views !!!

I checked in to a dirty room. The sheets had someone else’s hair all over them. There was no flat sheet at all. There were blood stains from bed bugs and a bug on top of the bed upon arrival. The carpet was dirty with hair balls all over. There were also food crumbs. The bed frame was broken and there was left over pony tails from someone else. The toilet had a wad of something in it. The owner or the rental as well as the management did nothing to help: I was told I could get fresh bedding and change it myself as there were no housekeeping staff available. I asked for a refund and was told I needed to wait for management the next day. I refused to stay and next day I was told they are following their cancellation policy and refused to refund my 3 night/ 4day stay.

Sheets dirty

Don't serve breakfast but have a café. Easy access to the beach. 90% of the staff is spanish speaking. Where they don't smile or understand English. Try to resolve an issue before arriving, no one picks up the phone. After several attempts, found a live person where they were not helpful.

I paid and reserved for a king size one bedroom apartment and when I got to my unit, it was a queen size one bedroom apartment. And in order to get some money back I had to check out completely after just checking in from driving 8.5 hrs to having a room at all if I wanted to get money back. I had to forget about getting any money just to keep the queen size one bedroom apartment

Beds was very comfortable

The room was in very poor condition; the walls were dirty, and the floor around the beds was heavily soiled with dust and hair.

Be aware that if you don’t book directly with the property, maintenance is not going to be performed if you have any issues.

Great place to stay

Very clean room, professional staff services, good parking, elevator waiting time between 1 and 5 minutes, shady and small swimming pool for the hotel size, a little too high noise level from the next room. Overall we had good time for two weeks

& random cockroach found near the toilet, while having no food in the room. The room looked nice and staff were friendly, for the price i believe the room should be cleaner.
