La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Harrisburg Airport Hershey

Room smelled terrible. The room was damp. Floor was dirty.

Breakfast was good.

No emanates at all to enjoy time off and no close by location and the breakfast offered was very minimal. Not staying there again.

Convenient location and clean property

The hotel had an awful smell to it once you enter the elevator it smelled like dead rat. Me and my family went in our room and had a very nasty smell I had to go back down and ask to change my room as we got another room the new one was missing blankets from the bed I didn’t bother to keep asking for a room change I just won’t be returning here anymore. The only good thing was the breakfast they had in the morning the coffee was decent, besides that I don’t recommend this hotel

Todo muy limpio y el cuarto amplio con buen aire acondicionado. Muy buena opcion de desayuno. Buen estacionamiento. Me quedé en el hotel con la idea de visitar Hershey, así que me resultó un poco mas lejos de lo que pensé, pero todavía a una distancia prudente (20 a 30 minutos, dependiendo el trafico). Pero me salua mas económico que quedarme en Hershey. En los alrededores muchos lugares para comer y hacer compras. Fuera de eso no tuve tiempo de ver el area de Harrisburg.

Check in was the easiest ever.

The guy at the front desk when we checked in was pretty rude and short. Didn’t explain much and we had to ask how much the fees were for the night and he was already done swiping the card by the time he answered. We had also called prior to checking in to confirm our booking and he dang near hung up on us. The room smelled like mildew and breakfast had very few options. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

Staff members were very helpful and very cordial with us.

Room was okay, there was a giant spider on the wall when we walked in and it crawled into the sprinkler system. It was a little rundown, but not bad for the value overall. Breakfast was decent.

House keeping was terrible, the carpet in the hall was fifthy and needed cleaning. This particular location is a poor example of LaQuinta property.

We "booked" a room for 5 through Expedia but were given a room for 4 by the hotel (I listed 4 adults and even added the age of our 6 year old child in the drop down bar; the desk clerk said this "problem" was an an Expedia's issue, not a Wyndham one, but he was certainly were willing to sell us a foldaway for an extra expense. They did send a nice curtesy text later welcoming us to the hotel asking if we need anything, and I politely asked for an extra pillow and blanket but apparently this text wasn't a serious offer). Otherwise, the room was fine, even though the hallway smelled like pot all evening, breakfast was fine (The breakfast attendant was sweet and helpful), the facilities were fine...everything was fine. If you can get a well priced deal for a room at this hotel, I would stay there - especially as it is located reasonably close to Hershey Park, but I personally would keep my expectations in line to expect things to be "fine".

It was perfect for our orientation at FAU!
