lol. This place is something! Bags of trash just laying around the property, shower head held together with tape, co-ax cable had been ripped out of the back of the TV, exposed electrical, cracked sink, overflowing trash bins around the property that have clothes and car parts in them, and a whole bunch of people just hanging around the parking lots (I think a good number of them live there- lots of children playing, people working on cars, others just sitting around smoking cigarettes all day). Other than the occasional shady individual, I didn’t feel unsafe here. It’s just really grimy and unkempt. It’s kind of like a low income neighborhood that has a few rooms for the public too. The walls are thin, so you can hear dogs barking and people using the bathrooms all night. It’s right next door to the Head Shop/Dunkin Donuts combination. This place is truly a sight to behold! I thought this place would be a one-star when we arrived, but experiencing this place is worth another full star. Only one pillow for the queen bed (sorry honey!). At least the bedding was clean…that’s really all you need, right?

The rooms were disgusting. Dirty mattresses, linens and curtains. Food and stains on walls. 2 “queen sized beds” were fulls. 4 people stayed in the room with two full beds that only had three pillows. We had to ask multiple times for an extra pillow. The mattresses were filthy and uncomfortable. The comforters were dirty and had giant cigarette hole burns in them. We asked for new blankets and were told that they didn’t have anymore and gave us more sheets… that were also stained. The curtains were broken and hanging from the window. The shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain could not close. The peep hole was duct taped over. Broken glass in the parking lot. Clearly, this hotel isn’t made for a visitor. People are just living full time in this hotel. It was apparent the second we pulled into the parking lot. Very cheap hotel but there is a very clear reason why. However, if you don’t care about any of that, it is close to Hershey park (15 minutes or so away) and there is also a Dunkin, McDonalds and a diner next door to the hotel.

This is not a family friendly hotel. It more like a daily renters property. The guy was very nice and let us cancel our reservation no charge but fyi to families its not a place to stay.
-
The room was clean and the staff friendly. It’s a little rundown but the location was good for our needs. Latch was missing on the door but it locked. The shower was amazing - after a long day, hot water with great pressure. Basic but exactly what we needed.
-
Don't stay here! The door to my room wasn't working properly. There was no fridge and the hotel staff could have cared less about me.

This place should be condemned. It’s revolting and I felt like I smoked a pack of cigarettes after staying there only one night. Giant pile of disgusting garbage right outside our door. Couldn’t even OPEN the door and needed help from staff with that. And of course staff walked right past the pile of garbage as if they didn’t see it there. Seemed like they just wanted to go back to the front desk and put their feet up on it for all the customers to see how relaxed they are and how much they don’t care about the condition of their workplace. Very poorly maintained….everything. Actually it’s not maintained at all. Flints water is safer than this place. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. More like a crackhouse. Rename it Redrum Inn.

The room itself was modern and reasonable compared to the rest of the hotel appearance.
-
Red Roof should be ashamed to have this poor example of a hotel room rented for over $100. I stayed recently at the red roof in leesburg va and it was much better. But likely to not stay at a red roof again

I don’t even know how this place is still listed on here there’s people that live here all year around just pull up and drive around the parking lot that will tell you right away.the rooms are disgusting with cigarette ash burn Holes blood stains sticky floors i couldn’t believe how dirty it was we complained got a *BETTER* Room it was worse the first one we left and drove back home I wouldn’t sleep there if you paid me

The room had been recently painted. Some of the items that had been removed before painting had not been put back yet. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked like it should. Slept like a baby.

Room was disgusting. It stank, was filthy, and there were stains and stuff all over the bed and blankets. When I pulled the covers back to look, there was a weird film on my hands. We left immediately.
