Red Roof Inn Harrisburg - Hershey

Absolutely nothing It was filthy and disgusting. Roaches, trash, horrible smell. We couldn't even stay because it was so gross.

Staff was kind and helpful Dirty. Roaches. Ac was broken and had to move to another room. In the other room the sink and toilet both malfunctioned and did not work as they should

It was close to shopping center Everything, there are more people living there then just passing threw my room smelled like smoke the toilet didn’t flush and it was leaking water at the bottom there was no microwave no safe or anything just a small fridge

The fact that we all survived the night!! The unpleasant smell of urine as soon as I stepped out of my car. The lack of cleanliness in the room. Both live and dead bugs. Broken lock on the door. Room number written on the wall and sharpie. Dirty linens and missing linens. Giant hole in side of mattress. Broken curtain. The horrible smell of stale cigarette smoke every time the air conditioner ran. The fact that the room cost $125 a night and was barely worth $50.

I had to give this hotel a one star just to submit my review but it deserves ZERO stars. Very dissatisfied with this stay. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and felt unsanitary. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable, and I would not stay at the Red Roof Inn Hershey again. Highly NOT recommended!

Good location Dirty had roaches outside was very dirty trash everywhere there was a boat in the front full of trash microwave was all rusted inside was afraid to use it was very disappointing

I booked a room and I arrived on site and they told me they were overbooked, they had nothing for me... Then Expedia website is terrible in this situation, told I could get a refund because I didn't cancel in time. Property pictures were not accurate, the place was a dive...

I do not recommend unless you are being hunted by zombies and this is your only option to hide.

Nothing. Dirty, awful smell in the rooms, cockroaches everywhere, crawling on the bed, in the tub. I had to leave.

Nothing The fact that I booked with Booking, called the propert 3-4 hours before an 8:30 arrival only for the concierge to tell me that had no rooms. Also that the trip is still showing on Booking.

The front desk guy was nice and offered a refund So there are permanent people living there, a lot of furniture outside of a lot of rooms, one person just in the short time there had many men stopping in their room,and was very loud just people all over the place.

So we give them the benefit of the doubt and go to check in. The first room they gave us was already occupied. There was pills and cash laying g on the bed. We went to the front desk. Told them. He was apologetic. Go to the second room to be greeted by large roaches everywhere. No door on the bathroom. Sheets were dirty. Went to get clean ones. The ones we got were dirtier than the first set. There was no way we were staying there. Found a much cleaner place. Don't stay here. They do not care about the conditions. The pictures on line are not of these rooms.

I wish I read the reviews prior to booking. The odor was something like I would expect from a homeless encampment, which is basically what this was. There were piles of trash in the hallway. Everything smelled of rotting garbage and cigarettes. Drug addicts were yelling at each other. I went out to get dinner, when I returned the police were there. There are clearly homeless people living there. It felt unsafe. The linens were visibly dirty. There was a hole in the blanket. Lightbulbs removed from fixtures. Honestly the scene was something I would expect in a family guy episode. Despite the place stinking of trash, there was not a single trash can in the room itself, not even the bathroom.

I should have known when I drove in and saw the parking lot and the condition of the lobby furniture that this was not going to be good. After check in, we drove around to the back of the hotel to make our way to the room from the outside. There were abandoned cars in the parking lot, people LIVING in the hotel, and hanging out outside of their rooms like it was a neighborhood party. We bolted and didn't even go into the room. Can't imagine what it looked like but I know we would have not survived the night. Total waste of time and money that I will never get back.

One tiny bar of soap, Two half-towels- no full/bath cloth. No trash can. ***Cock roaches in/under mattress... (full refunds was to be given- I slept in my car)
