This hotel is severely neglected and desperately needs a complete renovation. There is obvious wear and tear everywhere, and it feels like maintenance has been ignored for years. Even the front lobby, which should make a good first impression, is filled with stained, ripped, and worn-out furniture. The fitness room was dirty, and the equipment was a joke. If you’re choosing this hotel because of the amenities, don’t. The pool and jacuzzi look nothing like the photos online they are extremely misleading and neglected. This hotel is nowhere near the standard it advertises. It’s very outdated, poorly maintained, and not worth the money. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else until the owners invest in a complete overhaul of the property. The staff deserves much better than the conditions they’re expected to work in.

Seems like the ceiling tiles are dropping dust on the bedsheets, or this was not changed

Very clean inside and out. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Went the extra mile without being asked.

While the rooms are dated, overall the property is well maintained. My one complaint is on the second floor, which is more like a basement and where our room was located , it is very damp.

This hotel was good overall. They have a diner inside arcades indoor pool outdoor pool a gym and so many good things any family would want and its location is super convenient they have a sheetz right next door that's 24hrs and so many other places to eat. The only issues I had was the room smell the room looked super clean overall but smelled like cigarettes very very strong smell it was so annoying.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion hotel. The staff were wonderful and so friendly. My daughter loved the pool and the playground. All the amenities were very nice. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The room was clean just a little bit of crumbs on the carpet by the window. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay was overall positive. Check-in was fine and I was attended by a gentleman who was very helpful. There was another gentleman who had poked his head from out of the back room (behind the counter) just to greet me which was nice. I asked for a late checkout and had no issue. During checkout is where there was a bit of a shift from the attitude that had been received up to that point. I was attended by lady who's demeanor was somewhat muted which really isn't an issue per se. Different, but not bad. It was when I asked for the print out that the attitude went from muted to annoyed. It's unfortunate because everything had been great up to that point. Asking for the printed receipt has never been an issue at any place I've ever stayed at, domestically or abroad so that was a little confusing. I was the only one at the desk too, so again, I'm unsure what it was that put her out. To the point that when given the receipt, I said thank you and she simply walked away. The place itself is indeed dated. You'll notice it in common areas and in the rooms. That said the room was clean, comfortable, and met my needs during the stay. It's in a good location close to food joints and shopping. I suggest the small Mexican food spot that is next to the Hotel's parking lot. The food is good and the people are nice.

Absolutely love this hotel. My family and I stay here every year for my son’s tournament. The staff is great especially the manager Randy. Had a booking issue with our room this year and he upgraded us immensely and took care of breakfast for us for the weekend. The pools, hot tub, playground and volleyball area are incredible. My kids love staying here just as much as my husband and I do. So close to everything. Can’t wait to come back next year!

there was no alcohol sold so no bar and no drinks with diner. You could bring in alcohol. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel was very clean and kept. Overall the hotel could use a renovation

The hotel is great for kids with the indoor/outdoor pool and game room but for the price you pay for it the actual room could be a little bit nicer. We weren’t in the room much so we didn’t mind but the bathroom was pretty dingy and the beds aren’t very comfortable at all. Reason we stayed was because it was close to where we were visiting and it was the only place available as we booked super last minute. But for the price you pay you are getting anything special that another hotel cant. offer. Also breakfast isn’t free.

The Staff managers house keeping attended to all our needs while our stay was extremely welcoming and comfortable the place was super clean rooms clean stocked up .when I called the staff they were extremely professional courteous as well as the manager.i did not see him as the staffs boss but a leader that is top notch very rare you see that im from ny I definitely do not see that .I highly recommend this family hotel to any family that wants cleanness quietness politeness here is where you will find that comfort .I enjoyed it will be back 4sure.Edwin.V

It is definitely a kid friendly hotel, and I am happy I picked this because it was a last minute trip! The girls were satisfied and so was I ! They wanted to extend the stay ! We will be back !

Great for families! Kids loved the pools. The staff was very helpful. Only downfall was the number of loud kids the night we stayed.

Everything was clean and smelled good. The pools were very clean.

Great location and staff

It’s was okay we just spent 1 night. The bedroom and hallway kinda smells, maybe because it’s carpet and people walk straight from the pool to the bedroom without drying completely. Other than that. It was good enough for us to sleep.

I really liked this hotel, the rooms are big snd spacious, had a balcony. The hotel is big too, with two pools- outdoor and indoor, jacuzzi, little arcade and other places to hang out with friends and families. We stayed there for my daughter’s cheer competition, and we saw a lot of other athletes staying there. Families with kids and teenagers mostly.

There was bad smell everywhere in the hotel; the elevator, hallways, and guest room. The walls were paper thin so we could hear every footstep above, below, and around us. The coffee maker in the room was missing pieces. The luggage carts had flat tires which made it harder to get our stuff to our room. The service in the restaurant was the best part of the trip! We ate breakfast and lunch there and both times we received excellent service. The front desk was also responsive and friendly. I feel like with a little bit of effort, the hotel good be great. But it doesn’t seem like there’s interest in fixing these issues. With the amount of money being charged per night, we shouldn’t have to deal with easy fixes.
