The property consists of two adjacent buildings. If you love classic, baroque elegance like me, I highly recommend booking a room in the Ledgestone House. If you prefer a more modern vibe, go with the Mary Sachs House. Our room was elegant, spacious, and quiet, with a beautiful view over the river at sunset. The Ledgestone House common areas are gorgeous, particularly the sunlit parlor and the cozy, wood-paneled library - both ideal spaces to read or relax. It felt like we'd rented not just a room, but a private mansion for the night! Breakfast was filling and tasty, with a choice of scrambled eggs, frittata, or French toast. Coffee is available at all hours, though the creamer can be hard to find - it's in an upstairs kitchen rather than at the downstairs coffee station. It is worth noting the property changed ownership in the past few years, so details you see in older reviews may have changed. We found the current experience wonderful, and look forward to staying here again!

I have severe food allergies, I knew going into this that more than likely there would be nothing safe for me to eat, so I carry my own food EVERYWHERE. If you really want to stand out from everyone else, try offering gluten free options, non dairy options, and vegan. It’s not as costly as you think and you can always charge a little extra if they let you know ahead of time! I would have loved to sit down to breakfast and eat with my BF. Like I said, I carry my own food everywhere we go, but the option is always appreciate! Other than that, loved, loved, loved staying there. The bed was comfy, the house is very stylish, the bathroom.. that bathroom was an absolute DREAM! We will absolutely stay there again when we are back in town!

For a different option for a hotel, this place is the place to stay. Every thing was clean. No typical front desk. Close to Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. I would recommend this place to everybody.

Maintained with an awesome location and not too pricey. Staff incredibly friendly

Lovely Inn on the river. Breakfast was delicious and our room was very comfortable. The owner made sure everything was satisfactory for us.

The house was unique and we are glad to have seen it. I’m sure it was magnificent in its day! The room was clean and well maintained. However, the stairs and hallway carpets looked dirty and were not in good condition. The patio could have been lovely to enjoy a glass of wine, but it was covered with debris and needed maintenance. I wish the patio lights had not stayed on all night or that there were blackout curtains in our room. The room was lit all night. We sure wished we could have enjoyed the breakfast, but we had to leave at 7:00 and they served at 8:00. The river was enjoyable for walks.

Lovely B&B, beautiful home and grounds. Very pleasant owners, nice breakfast, great view and location.

Lovely bed and breakfast.

Lovely old historic building. Comfortable bed, quality furnishings. Wifi was inconsistent with signal sometimes disappearing completely. Weak signal when available. Hearty breakfast but with limited choice. Choice of breads other than white as well as fruit/yogurt/granola choices would be welcome as alternatives to the offered egg/French toast (which were good!)

The location was amazingly beautiful just across the river. The place was spotless, very cozy and warmly decorated. Breakfast was good and served in a big dining table with other guest which made it special. The only thing is that in the room pictures it leads to to believe that seating areas are part of the room but they aren’t, they are common areas but still they were quiet, very clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again!
