Candlewood Suites Harrisonburg by IHG

Close off the highway nice beds nice bathrooms, nice kitchens nice showers No Pool AND no breakfast ALL other hotels give some kind of BREAKFAST

We had an excellent experience at this hotel, especially with the manager Candace who really went out of her way to give us great service. This is a VERY dog friendly hotel as well with dog bowls in every room. Candace gave our dog a toy upon checkin. She was great, the room was huge and it was a wonderful experience.

Loud AC unit, actually a problem.

The location is central to Harrisonburg, Typically easy access to the interstate for traveling but this trip it was closed which is out of their control. But overall STILL an AMAZING Spot and Great enviroment. The elevator lol, When it goes from floor to floor it makes a terrifying noise as it comes to your floor. But still operates 100% normal just a very strange noise.

We checked into the hotel unaware the water was to be shut off! Even at check in the staff didnt tell us. We got onto elevator to see a sign that said was to be shut off next day. One day into 2 night stay. The next morning at the desk I said something to a new staff member at the desk and she proceeded to get defensive letting me know signs had been posted all week. I said might have been posted that long but we had only checked the prior day and NO ONE had informed us.

The GM was so rude! Im not allowed back there after we "hung out" for an hr before check in even though I had a reservation!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Liked that they are pet friendly since we often travel with our shi tzu

Large group hanging out by the gazebo from day till night so no one else could go out, water pressure in the shower was terrible!

It was clean I didn’t like the smell of weed on the floor we were staying in. I didn’t like seeing people partying all over the property - looked like the parking lot of a dive bar. Guys came out from behind a storage container bear our parked car and scared me. Would not recommend a place for families.
