Hotel Madison & Shenandoah Conference Ctr

Very convenient to activities at JMU.

Stayed for one night on a family road trip. Staff at check-in went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and helped us find the water refill station.

We like this hotel! Clean, quiet, and well maintained. Close to all things JMU and cute downtown Harrisonburg. Nice comfortable lobby to spend time in. Pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. One elevator was out of order during our stay but wasn’t a big issue for us. We found the stairs.

We just stayed 1 night for couple hours . It was good

Very clean rooms

Great location and spot but TLC needs to be given to the mold build up in the showers at the caulk line and coffee spots in the room carpet. If regular maintenance isn’t done, it will continue to go downhill. Also, only 1 of 2 elevators was working for a busy weekend staying on the 6th floor.

Had a good time

Nice place. Quiet, clean and stylish.

Front desk gave us no information at check-in regarding parking or anything else….just handed me a key and looked at me. All the info was in the key folder, but that felt a bit weird. Room was very nice. I didn’t love the barn-door style bathroom door or the door less shower, but that is just personal preference. It was all very clean. Loved the bar and the bartender, Mitch, was great. Really nice college town and campus. Nice convention center. Overall a great stay.

Great Place to stay

Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

This is our first time staying here and we we're very impressed.

Amazing property and an unexpected surprise. Restaurant(s) on property were excellent food & staff. Room was clean & bed was awesome. Live music on the weekends was nice. free parking garage was nice for motorcycles. We would stay here again in a hear beat.

Clean and very updated

The in room coffee Keurig machine was noticeably unclean. Otherwise, a great property.

Location, locationgreat

To check in, there is temporary parking at the front of the building. Luggage carts are located here. However, parking is in the garage behind the hotel. The garage does not have luggage carts. The garage does have handicapped parking; however, it's still a long walk from the garage to the hotel room. As someone with a disability, the garage not having luggage carts and the long distance from the garage to our room made it challenging.

The woman at the desk when checking was very unfriendly but the stay was great other than the hotel bar never seemed to be open. I’d stay there again.

The room as well as the hotel was very clean and modern. The hotel was just a short walk to restaurants and had easy access to the highway.
