Appeared to be a recent restore/remodel motel. Clean with large room and nicely furnished. More affordable as well and very quite location. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. Really liked being able to park car at door of room. Very nice and recommend.

Beautiful, charming place with lovely resteraunt. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Stain on sofa in room and front desk mentioned they were due to be changed but not until winter. We had to ask for a sheet to cover the sofa. Screen was torn out of screen door. Overall not bad and room was clean overall but the property needs some upgrading.

New owners appear to keep the premises clean as it was before. I make it my first choice when traveling this route. It hasn't disappointed in the 6 years I've used this facility as an overnight to break up my trip..Rooms are clean and it is tucked away just enough to stay somewhat sheltered but very close to 81 .

A comfortable and convenient hotel at a good price with easy access to Harrisonburg. We'll known in the community for the restaurant's buffet.

Favorite place to stay in VA.

I liked the quietness and the location The pool was already shut down a week before it was supposed to to be. The walking trails wasn’t there. And the corn hole game was no longer there either. These were the main reason we chose this hotel was very unhappy with it.

Did not recieve the room we booked. Booked a balcony room and was given a small corner room in between all the balcony rooms, but with no balcony. We have another weekend booked and were told we wouldn't get a balcony room that weekend as well. We were told that this was due to booking through a third party ...that we get what is left over, even though that is not what we are booking. If this is true then why put your rooms on third party sites? We have stayed there many times through this site with no issue. Now suddenly there are issues.

I stayed three nights at this property -- two nights "going" and one night "coming" -- after hopping off I-81 when traveling between northwestern and southwestern Virginia. I had two standard-sized poodles with me, plus was hauling a UHaul trailer. What I loved: (1) location easy to access from the interstate, yet far enough away to muffle traffic sounds; (2) trees, grass, plantings all around the property, offering a country-stay feel; (3) lots of mowed areas for walking my dogs, along with a handy dispenser for dog-poop bags, though I did need to provide my own bags; (4) motel-type arrangement made it easy to unload my vehicle right by my room door; (5) plenty of turning & parking space for my car & trailer; (6) largish outdoor swimming pool with the privacy of a wall and plantings, making a dip in the water a pleasure; (7) lovely playground for kids in natural setting, giving me incentive to come here with my grandchildren; (8) QUIET, comfortable room with a largish mini-fridge & microwave and plenty of granite-covered counter space; (9) budget-friendly price, with reasonable fee charged for my dogs; (10) option of a delicious, cook-prepared buffet breakfast in the on-site restaurant, for an additional price. I'll be returning for sure!

The bed wasn't horrible. Disappointing at the price I paid.

It was labor day weekend l didnt get the room l booked with a balcony and it was smaller and i was charged $60 more then last time

Carpet had stains everywhere and was filthy. Wallpaper was falling off the walls. This is a shame when the prior owners had this property it was beautiful and very clean. Current owners only in it for the money
