Despite my complaints I would stay here again bc I still think it's a great value.

Great location and very helpful staff.

clean and dog friendly. I love this motel

We stay at this hotel every year for a Dairy Show hosted across the street and the Rockingham County Fairgrounds. The beds are always comfy, and the rooms are as clean as they can be, even though the carpet and decor do show their age and wear. We love the wonderful pool! The daily service was ok, but they never did refill cups, t-paper or Kleenex... but that really is minor.

This is a very cute place to stay. Our room was nice, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the grounds were well kept. The only disappointment was the hot tub was not working. We booked this hotel, looking forward to sitting in the hot tub.

This was an older property, in a country setting, very clean and comfortable. We traveled with our dog, and the pet fee was very reasonable. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I used to stay here regularly pre-Covid. I thought the rooms were quaint and the restaurant was wonderful. I stopped going here when the quality went downhill (things needed upgrades). Fast forward six years … there are new owners, the rooms have been cheaply renovated, the carpet hasn’t been cleaned/changed, and the restaurant is way overpriced. Never staying here again.

I enjoyed my stay and loved pulling my car right up to my door!

Classic Motel experience. Blast from the past. Great staff and service.

Location was perfect and it suited our needs for the night.

Very clean room, staff is mostly new staff, new ownership. Family owned before were most accommodating & great with their work as the Inn was so special with their many years of care by family members. They did need to retire as known. We just hope that the new owners will be able to be focused on maintaining the property & all the amenities as before.

The property was very well maintained. Clean with a clean smell that wasn’t overbearing. Sitting on the balcony was very peaceful, and quiet. Right by a main road but it was quiet. Check in was quick and easy.

quick service, large clean rooms. TV was a little difficult to navigate with limited selections (as compared with other hotels). Easy checkout. Ice available for rooms TV selections

Perfect stay for us! This is not a modernized upscale hotel, if that's what you're looking for. However, it was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and was just what we needed for a great price! In a peaceful spot away from the Interstate with a nice pool area. All staff were very friendly & helpful. The restaurant is open for dinner on Fri, Sat, Sun and we lucked out on Friday's yummy fried oyster special buffet which also had BBQ ribs & fried chicken and lots of veggies, salad bar and desserts. There is also a breakfast buffet.

Wished to stay more but short stay due to travel a lot. I’ll be back in the future! What a quiet and nice area.

Our stay was very pleasant. Our room was nice clean and very quiet for our night sleep which we appreciated very much. It was very convenient to have a restaurant right on premises also. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Good value. People were all very nice. It's an old school motor court where you can park right in front of your door. The free Sunday breakfast was not fancy but was appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here a few years back before our current stay. The owner ship changed. Again, all of the employees were very nice. We noticed that the grounds do not look at all as well maintained as on our last visit. The pool is nice, but I would say the water was not sparkling clean. Wanted to use the jacuzzi. I opened the cover. It wasn't on and had bugs in it. The umbrella at our table was old and ripped. A lot of weeds were growing around the landscaped areas. On our outdoor patio a lot of green mold was growing on the white vinyl rails. This place is an old school gem, and we wish the new owners success.
