Holiday Inn Express Hattiesburg West Univ Area by IHG

From the time we arrived to the time we left, all staff from the front desk to those helping in the dinning hall were beyond kind and helpful. We felt so welcomed after a long day on the road. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property was clean. The bathroom was showing its age but didn’t feel gross. It could use some touch ups. The breakfast was very good for a complimentary breakfast and the three employees in charge of it were very friendly and attentive, basically like a full service wait staff. There was an issue with my booking, most likely due to failure on the third party booking site. The staff was overwhelmed with a bus load of youth athletes running around wild, but they did their best do accommodate us and find a solution.

Great clean stay

Property was clean, limited parking but we managed, air kept cutting off but we realized it was bc we had a cup of ice near the sensor, beds were comfy, felt super safe in the area. Breakfast was great and staff was so friendly! Pool was nice but really cold! Loved the soap, shampoo, conditioner provided and the office desk was a bonus for work! Would definitely stay again!

I booked through hotels.com. I had to pay a 50.00 deposit at the property. Which was no big deal. Was told at check out it would go back to my account. Checked out Monday showed on my account until Thursday the pending 50.00 charge. Not sure if it was my bank or the hotel. Regardless, budget to not get the 50.00 back fast if you are on a tight budget. The hotel was clean, very nice and the breakfast was great! Will stay again!

Room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. Indoor pool looked nice, but didn't try it. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a location that is near highway, and easy to find.

Breakfast staff was so helpful and there were many breakfast choices Interstate noise. I know this can't be helped but I asked for a room away from the interstate and we were looking right at it!

This is our second time staying at this location. We are never disappointed. The hotel is always clean, the staff is always so helpful and friendly, and the selection at breakfast is great. We will stay here again if needed and would recommend this hotel to everyone.
