Holiday Inn Express Hattiesburg West Univ Area by IHG

Property was clean, limited parking but we managed, air kept cutting off but we realized it was bc we had a cup of ice near the sensor, beds were comfy, felt super safe in the area. Breakfast was great and staff was so friendly! Pool was nice but really cold! Loved the soap, shampoo, conditioner provided and the office desk was a bonus for work! Would definitely stay again!

I booked through hotels.com. I had to pay a 50.00 deposit at the property. Which was no big deal. Was told at check out it would go back to my account. Checked out Monday showed on my account until Thursday the pending 50.00 charge. Not sure if it was my bank or the hotel. Regardless, budget to not get the 50.00 back fast if you are on a tight budget. The hotel was clean, very nice and the breakfast was great! Will stay again!

Room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. Indoor pool looked nice, but didn't try it. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a location that is near highway, and easy to find.

The only thing coluld improved was I only had one washcloth, and the very bare minimum of towels and hand towels

Everything Nothing

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s very clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is better than most hotel breakfast with a good selection and very efficient and friendly staff making sure you have everything you need. Our room had a great air conditioner and the shower was nice and hot.

Clean Price

The coffee brewing machines were great. Coffee tasted fresh and I could smell the aroma.

Front desk staff (Jamie) and Breakfast Staff Lead (Ms. Jeanette) were servant-hearted, service-oriented and very helpful to our family…rooms were comfortable and clean!! Definitely staying here again when we’re in town!!
