TownePlace Suites Hattiesburg

The breakfast was good. The rooms smelled of mildew and were not cleaned. Behind the bathroom door was hair and dirt. A person in our group was stuck in the bathroom down stairs restroom since the door was not lined up properly.

Clean room, very comfortable, quite friendly staff, very good breakfast and the kitchen staff always took care that nothing was missing, the pool very quiet and clean, I loved the place

The toilet seat was stained and peeling

The hall carpet on the third floor needs looked at. I’d stay again Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!

The carpets were so dirty that it turned our feet black from walking on it. It was very disappointing as I have stayed at this hotel several times.

The front desk staff was awesome very professional and kind. The week i stay one day of breakfast was terrible only had biscuits with turkey and pork no gravy or eggs. Other then tht no complaints at all.

Exceptional

Good

Some scratched/cracked furniture

I booked a king accessible room but got a queen or double. Bed wasn’t comfortable

This is not a bad hotel. Just a little tired. The room needed some TLC. The flooring had a chunk missing and the bathroom smelled bad. It was cleanish but not clean. Beds were good and clean. Pretty comfortable. The traffic and road noise outside could get loud but the AC drowned it out. Breakfast was decent.

Nice stay, welcoming Staff

We had a serious issue at this property. The first night of our stay a human error caused keys to be issued for our room to another person. It was late, we were in bed and someone was able to access our room. Then a few minutes later the front desk called asking us to verify our identity. The next morning staff called to explain what happened and we were offered a pint of ice cream to compensate for the error. I asked for a partial refund on our stay, but was refused. I later requested a discount on a future stay, but was also refused. The toilet splashed water out of the bowl every time we flushed so we had to close the lid to avoid septic spray. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was really good. Convenient location, plenty of parking, great restaurants nearby, but we are unlikely to return to this property. I understand mistakes happen, but I don't feel like we were adequately compensated for what happened.

No I loved it.

Staff were friendly It was filthy and not well kept. Needs a lot of work to update. Drawers wouldn’t stay shut, doors wouldn’t shut’ etc.

Awesome.
