La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hattiesburg - I-59

Arrived to hotel and no one was at the desk. Finally someone came by in a hurry and barely acknowledged us before he rushed off. Waited longer and he rushed back through saying we would need to wait. Finally he came back and just put the keys on the counter and gave us little to no directions. Otherwise the stay was fine.

The staff was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good.

Not clean, had to switch to another hotel

Solid breakfast, friendly staff, a great hotel for a one night stop before you arrive at your final destination. Besides needing a vacuum throughout the building, including our room and a few minor cosmetic updates we where pleased and will use this as our bridge for a one night stay.

We stay at this location every time we drive through.

Still, our stay was pleasant. I would recommend the hotel as a good place to stay.

Clean room, breakfast, staff and parking

loud amd noisy area--kids stomping around upstairs and dogs barking .

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned, lotion on the floor, hair in the sink and tub. Very minor issue so I cleaned it up. Some of the channels on the tv not provided by the hotel. Room service attendants will be gone by certain time so request all your needs in the morning, otherwise your room will not be serviced. And also if they hear anyone or a tv playing in your room they will not service your room. Only 1 waffle iron available for breakfast, there will be a 20 minute wait because breakfast tends to be busy between 7-8am. Parking was more available on the back side of the hotel. The breakfast attendant, the front desk attendant Joshua, and some of the employees were sooooo nice to us and very attentive but some were very unconcerned when problems were reported.

The hotel I'd aging and needs some minor work. The staff makes up for it though. They were swift, accommodating and had to deal with a baseball tourney in town (think lots of kids). I was traveling with a pet, they happily made that a nonissue.

The room was dirty, the sheets hasn’t been washed but I got in the hotel way too late at night and was too tired to ask for another room. The tub was dirty full of hair, the head board all screwed, it look like a big cat had scratched.

We will be back again to enjoy very soon , thank you all for been friendly and nice. And helping us with everything and the other guest were also very friendly as well .. til next time

The carpets in the halls were awful and stained. The floors were dirty. The breakfast was the high point. It was pretty good. I spent $180/night for a $50/night room. We were VERY disappointed in LaQuinta. I went down to get a few items from the front desk and overheard someone else also seeking a new room. So I know it was not just mine that was bad. This hotel was rated “excellent”, I don’t know how unless the reviews aren’t real/verified. Room 222.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is good. Room is clean and comfortable

Very clean and just what I needed. Close to highway.

There was no staff at the desk just before 10pm for check in. The room was in terrible condition, stains on pretty much every piece of furniture, nothing well kept, the bathroom door you have to pull hard to even get out because somethings wrong with it (so loud it wakes children). I stayed here because of the ratings and was very disappointed.
