I request a quiet area of the hotel in advance but was still given a room unbeknownst to me right across from which construction was taking place. It was very noisy with construction starting at 7am. I wasn’t able to sleep in and I distinctly told them that I was staying there to get some rest. I was very disappointed with my stay.

Employees were lovely! Things were nice and tidy. There was a stain on one of the comforters on the bed though. I did not complain. I took the comforter off the bed for the night. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options! The hot tub jets didn’t work. Still a great property to stay at.

The pool was trashed by a family, two days in a row. The front desk was slow to clean up smashed food, water diapers, left over pizza boxes and gross towels. The bathroom in the pool area was nasty the entire time. They don’t tell you the pool is shared with the Comfort Inn and other adjacent hotel. For an extra 20$ per night you should switch and go 2 miles southwest to Manhattan Beach. Breakfast is basic, does the job for one day. Wouldn’t suggest more than that. Rooms are clean enough thankfully. Likely would not refer to stay unless you’re in a bind.

Check in was easy. The room was very large. The instructions for the parking garage were a little confusing, but it all worked out. Not the nicest neighborhood, did fear every night that my car may be getting broken into.
